Blairgowrie
Can some bright soul figure this out? I found the console command for changing time of day on M4Today but it doesn't seem to work for me. This was the command as posted. tod [] I have tried tod [] and tod but neither seems to work. The full list of commands can be found here: http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Knowledge_Base&op=show&kid=
GreyKnight
BG, I just tested it myself, just drop ALL brackets. tod 24.00 GK
Blairgowrie
I am so incompetent! I still can't get it to work. I must be missing out something. I bring up the chat box with the ` sybol and then > to open the console. I then type tod 09.30 and nothing happens. Grrrrr.
1. DDz Quorum Friar Posted November 28, 2008 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted November 28, 2008 Jim, It only works for an on line game. It has no effect, for example in the QMB. I just created a dogfight server on my machine, ran up a mission and then went into the consol as GK said and entered tod 03.00 (the ">" is already there) and the screen went black, then did tod 12.00 and it came light again. Hope that sorts it. if your testing the a20 / mossie mission, you will have to try it as an online game. Cheers Colin
Blairgowrie
It was the A20 Mossie Mission I was trying to change Colin which, as you know is a coop. Is that what you mean by an on line game? Also, if you do not enter > the console does not open. I had this sucker working a couple of weeks ago but now when I try it, it won't work. GreyKnight
Bring up the console for real with SHIFT+TAB and then type it without the greater than sign, then SHIFT+TAB back to the game. That's what I did.
Blairgowrie
You mean like this? Same result.
Blairgowrie
I thought it might be a problem associated with the 352nd September update so I tried it on my back up computer. Can't get it to work there either. That makes me think it is something I am doing wrong.
Klinger
That all looks like a friggin workup BG. I'd just open it in FMB and change it in descriptions/conditions. 1 min tops.
Blairgowrie
The beauty of doing it through the console Kling is when you are hosting, you can change the light on the fly without disconnecting everyone.

Blairgowrie
Almost a full page and I just found out you can't change mission time in a Coop. Only through QMT or FMB. Thanks for helping me figure this out guys.
