OverDhill Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 Don't put them in the MODS folder but rather the _MODS folder Quote
OverDhill Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 I just modified this one to use with JSGME. It is the 109 sound pack done by the same guy that did the P-51 Unzip and drop it in the _MODS folder and enable it https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/336815/BF109%20K-4%20Audio%20Production%201.0.zip Quote
OverDhill Posted December 19, 2014 Author Posted December 19, 2014 I decided to combine all the sound MODs I wanted to use into one sound MOD. This was done to allow JSGME to be able to handle any overlapping file changes. This is a beta version that CaptJack and AP have tested a short while. It combines the following MODs so make sure you disable any of these before enabling the DCS_Sounds MOD: Better Explosion Sounds v0.9 by Boris BF109 K-4 Audio Production 1.0 F15C E Audio Production Mod 2.0 P-51D TF-51D Audio Production 2.0 + P-51D Weapons Fw_190_D-9_Dora_Audio_Production_3.0_Mod https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/336815/DCS_Sounds.rar Let me know if you encounter any problems Quote
CaptJackG Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 No problems at all OD it really sounds nice. Thanks Quote

OverDhill Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 Nage that MOD does not interfere with the sound MODs and I have it enabled in my DCS This sound mega pack was created to prevent all these sound MODs from clashing with each other. Quote
Nage Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Sound mods does not clash with each other, unless, they are written for the same plane, gun, etc. In that case the last one in JSGME takes over the previous one loaded to right side. Anyway, i posted it here cuz the title was DCS mods and you posted WWII theme sound mods, so i thought it might be helpful if someone is not aware of this mode yet and is good addition. Sorry if i got in the way. Quote
OverDhill Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 You didn't get in the way and thanks for the link... and yes there were some overlapping files and also one that was shared that needed a couple lines added to it so it would handle all the planes sounds. Quote
OverDhill Posted January 1, 2015 Author Posted January 1, 2015 Well I suppose we can open this up to all DSC MODs Here is one that changes the F15C cockpit to HD. DD_Arthur Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Nice one John This looks amazing! I think I'm going to have to make some sort of new years resolution about DCS - like sorting it out properly!! Could you do a tutorial on how to install and use JSGME with DCS as I have simply no idea - doh! Also, is there any way to keep control assignments as every time there is an update it seems to through all that stuff outta the window and I'm back to square one? Quote
OverDhill Posted January 1, 2015 Author Posted January 1, 2015 Well someone already made a tutorial on JSGME. Also before you do an update just use JSGME to remove them all first then after the update enable them again. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=98607 Quote
Snacko Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Also, is there any way to keep control assignments as every time there is an update it seems to through all that stuff outta the window and I'm back to square one? Yes. When you are in your Options screen, click on the Controls tab. There is a button at the top called 'Save Profile as'. This button will let you save a controller profile anywhere you want. I keep mine in their own folder in My Documents with other DCS documents and mods... The most important thing to remember when saving a Profile, is that it will only save the assignments for the currently selected aircraft and controller. So, if you want to save all of the assignments for say the A10c. Select that aircraft in the drop down box, and click on a cell under the controller you want to save. For example, click a cell under your throttle and click the 'Save Profile as' button and name the file as My A10c Throttle Assignments. Do the same for your Joystick, pedals, Trackir... Anything you have customized. So you will have several saved profiles for each aircraft. It's a lot of saved profiles, but unfortunatly that's how DCS does it. To Load your profile, be sure to select the correct Aircraft AND Controller before loading so that it loads the profile into the correct controller. 1 Quote
