  1. (Ah, I get it Gec, you think both computers use the same IP address. I kinda overlooked that ... good thinkin' ...)
  2. This is very weird. You've already changed all the components that could be faulty.. The only things I can think of now are: 1. Power related: - The power supply is on its way out, it could be spiking, and thus messing up the signals on the network cable - The power outlet to your computer is at fault? Is it connected to the same outlet the Windows 7 computer is connected to? 2. Malware? Weird!
  3. Brilliant stuff Jabo, I've yet again had to change my Desktop background... the Hind is there now... Feel free m8!!!
  4. No worries, just make sure your mike is open, so we can all enjoy that ... Welcome!
  5. Latest video, too big to go in the Vault, so direct link to YouTube:
  6. Good Job! It will depend how much 'tuning' you've been doing with Ntune... (Is that even possible with that? Overclocking?)
  7. Indeed, you are completely right! It is obvious. It is as obvious as the ferry from Portsmouth-Caen leaves at Portsmouth and then ferries to Caen! And so: ...HOORAY!
  8. (...) And Painless and Sid are no slouches! Put them in a calendar shirtless in their fire gear hauling 100lbs of hose and I'm sure someone will uh.. take notice? Oh wow, me thinks you'll make JP a very happy man once he sees this one ...
  9. Ooohhwwww... that's... that's .... carp.... Good thing though its still under warranty.... bad thing is its of no use for us to try and diagnose the problem, have you attempt all kinds of things, unplug stuff, change connections, rewire, have it go BOOM!
  10. As Fruitbat already mentioned: Second video: Spitfires at Duxford
  11. Changed the upload, (link is still the same, see above) now the 'Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V1' was used. Please try to download it again ...
  12. Sure, me editing the video and redo it with a different codec? (I used the Intel Indeo 4.5 Codec.)
  13. Here's my first contribution: Three Kestrels at Duxford, a 2'20 Video of what was a highlight of the show to me! @gec: Thanks m8, it was a bit of a trip, but driving a French car (Citroen Xantia) over the 'Peage' motorways in France @130km/hr, on the Cruise Control is much like flying, the miles and miles kinda fly past... but getting into Belgium (had a big dip just before Antwerp, a cup of black coffee fixed that) at rush hour is no good, and in Holland trying to avoid a traffic jam, taking a bypass route that many others took does not help in making good progress at all! In the end, the rule of '2 hours drive, 15 minutes break' is a very good one!
  14. I only got the first 60 seconds ... will upload 'm ... link to follow soon Edit: Here's the link, sorry about the crappy quality ... DD's-Prayer
  15. Mission complete! I got home at about 20:00 local time. My debrief In short: Fabulous! Amazing! Brilliant! It all was! Have started working on gathering video and images, to try and make something out of it ...
  16. Pictures created using a webcam, at night, at the hotel 'La Rosiere'. Sid and Tim (hounorary DangerDog for Normandy) "I SAT IN A SPITFIRE LAST WEEK. HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT THAT YET?" That's JP. He's still with us. Despite the two Mirages over Point du Hoc hunting him down, despite the Chinook over the big guns at Longues sur Mer.
  17. This is Painless's Spit, the one he sat in. He went missing for a while during the show... did he really?
  18. Important note here: FT is only the messenger here, the flightshow pics are from Roger! Some other images I got from connected camera's, or shared memory sticks, some I took with the webcam....
  19. Now that's a show! Back at the Red Lion
  20. Inside the Romainian hangar, listening to the guy that runs the shop there ('shop' being something called the 'Aircraft Restoration Company, Duxford', never heard of that, it seems that guy's been publishing articles in some magazine, and he's been working on some book in 9 volumes.) Col Pope is his name.
