  5. Seen this about a few times but never devoted the time to actually watch it. This time I'm glad I did! The reaction on the pilot's face was priceless. PR pilots were heroes just as much as their fighter or bomber contemporaries and don't get as much recognition as they deserve.
  6. Haha, very good Jack! As a cat owner, I can totally relate.

  12. Anyone seen this? It's not a part of history i've looked into with any detail before... Also, it seems that with the support and funding received following the above, Nancy Spielberg has secured a feature length film. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2704752/?ref_=nm_flmg_prd_1 Should be worth a watch.
  13. Another Mossie will be airworthy soon! Video within this article: http://www.warbirdsnews.com/warbird-news/victoria-air-maintenances-mosquito-ready-fly.html

  25. And the winner is... Congratulations! This example is stored outside at nearby Headcorn aerodrome, looking rather forlorn after a parachute plane crashed into it a few years ago. To be honest it was looking worse for wear before, but since the incident (which killed the unfortunate pilot) it has been left to merge in the undergrowth. It is reportedly owned by the USAFM and Headcorn Museum can't touch it. All rather sad. Here are the remaining pictures... Bongo old chap it's your turn next
