  1. Yep, green for me too apparently and 75% democrat, same as bongo.... spooky... We have the same voice, political views, both amazing pilots (ahem)... Seriously though, good luck America!
  2. Anyone see this? http://www.break.com/index/helicopter-pilots-rescue-rc-plane-from-tree-2383741
  3. Is this the ghost of Von Richthofen?
  4. Happy Birthday FT old chum! Great to fly with you again last night. Had I realised it was to be your birthday today, I would have sung to you... lol
  5. Right on. This unlucky Tr9 has gone through 3 sets of props and belly repairs in almost as many years. Sticky u/c levers etc...
  6. Ah, happy memories Fen! That was a great day. Probably his best ever display
  7. Pretty sure he paid for it. About £55k for the course if I recall. At least he's spending money on a decent pastime, I mean other than champagne and cocaine, which was his tipple back in the blur days!

  9. Gliders are awesome. fact. (Ok I am biased now...)
  10. I think you've answered your own question mate. The only way to replace an MS FFB2, is with another MS FFB2! I'd have a look on eBay, they're still about.

  13. I'm in love!!!
  14. Well that is everyones hope. It was provisionally booked for Flying Legends last year, but the project had some delays (understandable with such a complex restoration!) It's all down to the owner really, a Mr Jerry Yagen. It's destined for his fighter academy in the USA (Virginia I think...) but he is quoted as saying he'd like it to tour Europe or at least the UK on it's way over. Whether this still stands is unsure, it's been delayed already, maybe he'll just want it home!! Who knows?! Fingers crossed though!
  15. 16 years since anyone has seen/heard this. Truely magnificent!
  16. It flies!!!!! A few days ahead of schedule, take off was today at 10:40 local time. First photo has been posted on Facebook so I took a screen grab for everyone. This makes me so incredibly happy. The Mosquito is one of my all time favourites. It's been 16years since we last had an airworthy example. I do hope we get to see it in the UK before it heads to the states!!
  17. My recent posts in the big fat aeroplane video thread have obviously gone unnoticed!!
  18. Taxy time...
  19. Ooooooh, that sounds gooood! A real 'slappy-clappy' sound to it. A bit like the Flug Werk 190 replica and it's Ash radial.
  20. DROOOOOL
  21. Great vids Arthur! That SA one is incredible! Some of you may know that down in NZ they have a Mosquito very close to flying (scheduled for the end of this month!) Here is the first glimpse of her 'coming alive' Pics here: http://rnzaf.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=Airshows&thread=16707&page=21
  22. Can I have fries with that?
  23. Splendid! We'll see you there matey. It's unlikely I'll be able to stay too late in the evening after the show now due to other commitments and work the following morning. But I may be able to throw a sausage or two down my neck haha
  24. Sounds like it's Sunday then chaps? It's good to get there for gates opening or there abouts. As Tom says, flying starts early at Shoreham. So, who else is in other than Fen, Painless and myself?
