All settings the same except that I have detailed clouds. Maby set clouds to medium will better the FR a bit? But it makes nicer pics in detailed:)

My settings in the game are all on the highest. I also changed some settings in the config.ini file (see below). In the setup.exe file all settings are at highest I think. conf.ini

~S~ BG. To upgrade grafics sounds to me like the first step to do. Not that expensive either. Can´t find the GTX or GTS versions, well only this one from XFX but with DDR3 chips: http://www.dustinhome.se/pd_5010198082.aspx Can I use DDR3 memory grafics on a motherboard with DDR2 memorys? Or is it two different gear that doesnt has with each other to do? When looking at ASUS 9800 the closest are GT-type: http://www.komplett.se/k/kl.aspx?bn=10488&mfr=ASUS or http://www.dustinhome.se/lp_5301_312.aspx also with DDR3 memorys. The latter has a lot of types and it is a bit confusing which one to choose. When it comes to upgrade CPU I dont know. Is it tricky to do it my self? BIOS stuff to change etc.? Two, black ones, that are occupied by the memory sticks. And two additional, yellow ones, each one prallell with te memory slots. Can I use the yellow ones for two more memory sticks? ~S~ mates. If anyone would help me with recomendations, if possible, to upgrade my pc, I will be glad. Bought my pc a year ago. After I searched for reasonably good gear for weeks I decided to get something that is between advanced and budget. I did not built it my self thogh. I asked the company who put my pc together if I had enough memory and they said yes, XP only use about 3 Ghz and the other components will be enough for what I´m gonna use it for (pictures and processing pic´s). I did not select components to play IL-2 or any other games that eats memory. But now I´m thinking of an upgrade. I dont want to over-clock or change motherboard. I chosed a motherboard that could be upgraded, I think. But I can think of maby upgrade my grafic board! When flying co-ops with you Dogs, my FPS is 61 at highest but drop down to under 30 sometimes when a lot of clouds and heavy lanscapes and stuff like that. Ok, how much more performance can I get from what I have below? What have lost pilots with a small town on the west coast of Sweden to do? We were pretty close to where it all happend, Denemark, Finland, Poland, Norway and Germany of course. Many pilots bailed out or ditched in the bay between Sweden and Denemark. Many on swedish teritorry. Unfortunately not many pilots came up alive. In my hometown are seven pilots from commomwealth buried. Two from Canada and five from GB. I took some pictures and did some research on the internet. Thank you mates. You´re right. I found the settings in the game controls for adjusting the view. Not as wide as ubizoo member but much better. Yes, my native resolution is 1680*1050 on my 22" Wide monitor. Still have a lot to learn.... ~S~

~S~ After yesterday´s coop and pep talk about how nice Trackir works compared to anything else, I have a couple of questions. First af all I searched the forum and other sites but I feel I like to have your opinion as well. 1. When reading NaturalPoints description of which sims that take advantage of trackir I notice that IL-2 only works in two axis. Is that right?

I did some testing today. Downloaded the dll-files and replaced the old ones. Dont know if I am able to see any difference thogh. Maybe it depends on of what kind of hardware and screen you use. I use a Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT 512mb together with a 22" Eizo Flexscan 2231W. My pc is a dual core E6750 2.66ghz with 775 socket IP35 and 2 DDR2 PC2-6400 chips (800mhz) . The Eizo is an IPS panel type and not really a gamers first choice (little slower update speed then a TN-panel). I bought it mainly for picture editing and stuff like that. In the IL-2 config.ini file under: [window] I changed the resolution to: 1680*1050 to get the best results/size for my screen. I also changed
