Select Advanced. Click Edit Languages Select English - United Kingdom from the list and click add. Now my Favourites are back and all my colours are as they should be... not underlined with a stupid red line
  3. I was wondering if there was something that I have missed configured on my profile for the board or whether this is a normal thing. My system time is currently 22:05 but the time at the top of the board has it at 21:05. I only noticed this as the post I was notified of was time stamped at 21:39 in my in box but the time on the board for the post is 20:42. Its freaky weird and its making me feel like the meds aren't working... HELP!!!! somebody HELPPPPPP !!!!!!
  4. Hehehe.. see. Knew Rog would be here to save the day!! Out of curiousity. Would a reinstall over the top leave that side of things alone? It's something I've never done but curious none the less.
  5. As a quick thing you may want to consider a reinstallation of firefox to reset the file associations. Or possible a slightly different way is: Start IE and if it checks to see if its the default then select yes Start Firefox and hopefully that will do the same. Select yes. (this may reset the file types)
  6. Ok. I've done a quick HTML link on my desktop and this is what it looks like: I dont know why but I think the links that you have are shortcut links not shortcut URL links, looking like this: I could be completely wrong and just a stupid dog barking at the wind. I've got something else to look at but I'll post that after your reply.[/img]
  7. I believe you BG. I can see what has happened and resolution may just take VNC. File Associations have gone a little haywire Firefox icons can be found in the main EXE file of firefox. C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Firefox.exe I can see on your desktop the K9 Forums link/webpage so something has worked in the past and maybe its just something to do with the new links. I'll look further.. maybe Rog has a faster avenue soon.
  8. LMAO.. you have to watch these 'Un-Employed Computer Bum Geek, and Lovin' it' internet sharks... they'll turn yer life upside down and then disconnect yer!!
  9. re-replied and fading away!!
  10. PM Sent. Let me know what you think?
  11. LOL.. thanks Painless... Well PC dont mean anything with ears like mine.. could have sworn he said otherwise. I don't remember the guard room bit but I thought there was a part at the end of the film when the poor dog bit the bumper! How can they call the dog after a dumbass Only Fools and Horses character!!! The film will never be the same again!!!
  12. @Painless: Really.. last time I saw it on TV it was the original. I'm sure it wasn't all that long ago. LMAO @ jens... priceless
  13. LMAO.. had a feeling you were drunk.. hangover works too LOL If you cant minimize your program enough then do it anyway and then try and grab the sides or corners to drag it to another size. Or: 1. Press ALT then Space and then tap S (for size) 2. Press your right cursor key (to select the right hand side 'wall ' of the program 3. Now press left cursor repeatedly to bring in the size down. 4. To do a different 'wall' press it appropriate cursor to select it and then use its opposite cursor key to reduce it!
  14. Easy way to get a webpage as a shortcut is to make firefox or IE smaller in size than you desktop then drag the icon at the left of the web address in the address bar onto your desktop. Voila a nice to open shortcut link... and I thought I was technically Rog. You get the geek award for that one. I had trouble following it and I know what you were talking about
  15. Excuse my stupidity on this one but I take it that it doesn't relate to the dog thing. I would prefer it to stay in though.. kinda said when you heard the squeal of the truck brakes and no more dog.... It just wells me up inside
  16. Seriously, do you think they will change the name of the dog for PC sake?
  17. Looks like I'll be waiting til they cure the prob for the full release version. Thanks for that Rog.
  18. You're welcome.. its great news for you guys over the big pond but for us little men its awful. I believe its American. Now things are being flagged when they shouldn't be.....all my colours are wrong... my favourites are all stuffed and thats just the beginning. Boohooo!!!!!
  19. Hi All, I've been using firefox for plenty of time and I've recently downloaded Ver 2 Beta. I have to say it just as sweet as previous incarnations with one great feature. A spell checker On the downside though, the majority of add-on extensions cease to work and there are few that have been updated but it is nice to see loads of reds limes under all the mistakes I've made. I'm sure you are all zipping along with firefox but thought it was a worthy note. Firefox Beta Page

Just a quick heads up. I'm sure Rog is aware and on top of this but there was a reported security bug in ver 4.1.1. A user could gain access to your machine WITHOUT knowing the VNC password. Don't start panicking too quickly. IF you have windows passwords and leave your machine locked or logged off then chances of breach are minimal. If you dont have passwords the the chances are still minimal as your a needle in a haystack that probably has a very small internet footprint for someone to be bothered in gaining access. ie your not a large server. Good security measures are: Use passwords to safe guard user accounts. When using VNC consider setting lock windows on disconnect. (when accessing remotely.) Turn it off when finished with (when using it to help others) Use Windows standard "Blank screen" screen saver with password protection. (all your programs continue to run but you must use your password to get back in) S!
  22. ROFLMAO!!! No new flight models!! Class
  23. Hi Delta, I have same card and use CCC along with ATITool to cap the core and mem speeds. I flashed mine from PRO to XT PE to unlock the full 16 pipelines. Just choked it afterwards to reduce overheat issues. My card runs at around 36 degrees idle and approx 55-60 loaded depending on ambient temps. I'm still running stock cooling. You may want to consider ATITool. It's pretty neat and allows fan speed adjustments or constant speed at 100%.
