I have a dim memory of Roger explaining to somebody on the Zoo how to, and how not to, uninstall a pci card so that its resources are freed up in Windows. I need to pull a wireless card from my Dad's computer in his office and don't want to screw it up.

If you add load to the electrical system and get funkiness it can be an alternator whose contacts are marginal or a voltage regulator that's not working right.

In the Avalon Hill game Squad Leader the Finns are arguably the best infantry in the game.

If you're going to try it out, be sure to get Ad Block Plus, v 7.2.2 Apparently there are quite a few fixes over v5 and if you're googling quickly its easy to end up with the wrong one.

Another way to go is to grab an old computer from a closet and put TS on it and hook it up through a router.

I find the number of "gotchas" with computers, at least when you're operating at my level of understanding, to be overwhelming.

I found this reading the newsletter sent out by Sunbelt Software and thought it to be obscure enough, but possibly relevant when you least wish it to be: "If you use Ad-Aware by Lavasoft and it removes the spyware program wsaupdate.exe, you may not be able to log onto your XP computer because the spyware also makes a change to the registry that is not fixed by removing it. Yep, its quite possible that its his problem if he can connect through HL but not directly. Send me a message of some sort if you're working on it and I'll see if I can connect. I've got Shadow's TS open, in Ready Room.
