The CCC requires 1.1 I install both .nets now and this seems to work fine, per Joe's and Bill's SOP with office machines they build. The version of 1.1 matters, the latest from M$ seem to make the CCC more stable.

I called CH and asked, "Who do you connect people to when you've got somebody on the line who is really po'd with you guys?" Michael picked up and listened to me rant about how my $120 pedals are basically junk after a year of use and that tech support had been totally unhelpful. Turns out they don't want to sell the baseplates because many people were making their own pedals from the CH baseplate.

If what happens to Shadow's pedals and my pedals happens to your pedals, you're out of luck. "You guys are loads of help, thanks, I guess I'll give Saitek a shot." Buttheads.

Just returned to the screen, would have enjoyed a practice session. One thing I learned stumbling through this is that the autopilot can be disabled so that a person can practice gunnery from crew stations without the AI pilot engaged!!!

Thanks for the help! I did a run using the rudder trim and had them going right where the initial aim point was- although the aim point did start moving toward the a/c near the end of the run. Do you need to take the sight off of "Auto" to change the speed and altitude parameters? How do I get the AI to drop on the same run as I?

Brando can do it with one arm.... A couple threads at the Zoo had warned against taking apart the CH pedals to clean them unless you're good at fixing complicated things.

In the A-20, with level stab on and the bombsight tracking in auto mode, the aim point drifts across the ground to the right several hundred meters over the course of the run.

ah, indeed, I had not mapped the correct control! I have seen the bombs hit where I wanted them to twice, but several times with the same setup they didn't hit the ground where the reticle suggested they would.... I'll join you for practice on ZvW when I can.

Does the bombsight gyro have to stabilize before the level wings autopilot will function? I'm having a heck of a time getting the wings level a/p to function at all while on bomb run.

Quazi had about half that loss and got them back with the no-DVD exe. Peruse the UBI tech help, I think there's been several threads in there.

I used up a whole ammo load on a Sally with a Nate without scoring visible damage other than one fuel leak.

The Nate was produced in numbers and is the proper foe of the Hawk, so its inclusion is a plus.
