Hi , hope you get sorted with management, you shouldn't stick to one plane as that would limit understanding and enjoyment, pick one twin engine,one allied single engine and a Luftwaffe single engine to start and work from there. I forgot to mention that you will need bodenplatte add on to fly in campaign. Nearly everyone here has all add-ons and use them all in coops

There are some instructional videos on complex engine management on YouTube and plane specific tutorial. you need to have prop pitch and mixture mapped then seperate engine starts are handy but all explained on videos, if still struggling then we can go through stuff on teamspeak

The regular flying for BoX on Sundays and Tuesday at around 2000 GMT , but there are USA /Canada members who run co-ops to suit their time zones as well. We dont have ranks or anything like that , we are a fun based squad. We fly dogfight map to warm up then co-ops, setting are relaxed but slightly harder for a P-38 campaign that we are running, you should know how to start twin engines, taxi and take off, landing is optional 😃. We fly with mods on. cheers

No claims, while recovering from stall , flak killed me outright. Tiffies not very good Vs 109k when fully loaded. Suggest we take fighter escort next time

There are some documents in our download section outlining control scheme http://dangerdogz.com/forums/files/category/8-documents/ I use x-52 and basically set up Mode 1 for engine management Mode 2 for normal flight control Mode 3 for levey bombing I couldn't play this sim without track it is the single best improvement you can do in my opinion although a few swear by VR headsets

Hi and welcome, we fly il2 on Sunday and Tuesday nights, alternating between co ops and our P38 campaign, all you really need is the ability to cold start your (twin) engines, taxi and take off. We fly with speedbar and minimap on coops but without speedbar on campaigns. There is a dogz mod for icon settings. Most important is come along and have fun

I dont want to appear negative but even after a refresh we are having issues. I believe that the missions generated are fun and flyable , its just the accumulated scores that are lacking. I know Tom wanted to build a campaign and keep it realistic , with people trying to keep alive and develop their pilot but we have been running this for months and I dont think people are doing this anymore, due to too many deaths and reboots.So do we need to have a continuous campaign? Is it possible just to generate the missions individually and keep an offline scoreboard on the forums? Or is that more work;would it defeat the purpose and Im just wrong? Im happy to turn up and fly the missions Im just sorry Tom has to put up with the frustrations caused and looking for an easy solution.

If it ran ok awith the limited number test but not with the additional pilots on Sunday night it be an issue with one of the pilots who flew on Sunday? Only way to find out would be to start with pilots who completed successfully and slowly add others to find problem

We have members across the world , including a healthy Canadian and USA contingent. We fly relaxed settings generally , although slightly more difficult for a P-38 campaign we are running, and run mods for our co-ops We use teamspeak for communication We dont do ranks or anything formal, just a relaxed bunch . 193 squadron were rudely awakened at an ungodly hour, Squadron leader squiddley refused to get out his bed due to it being too dark and cold and remained there cuddling teddy as two brave souls took to the sky. Take off was a bit hairy in the dark but we got off and made our way to target, without the yanks air cover,who as usual were late. 😃 It was difficult to see bridge so I dropped on some ground forces and distracted flak while crash managed to get the bridge. We mopped up some ground forces then headed home. On the way back we spotted bandits high so called for assistance and opened throttles for home. We managed to outrun them and they turned away but were harassed near Arnham, fortunately the calvery arrived in time to assist and we were able to make out way back home and land sucessfuly.

Hi and welcome, good to meet you last night. You asked about comms and flying last night. We dont use discord yet having stuck with teamspeak. This site has an app running that shows who is on , feel free to join in and say hello and see what they are up to. We dont frequent the online public servers often. I am on sometimes and Iv seen some of the canadian boys on; but if you are keen for a session and want company then use the chat box to tell folks your plan and you might get some luck. Most are busy here ;with 2 Box sessions, the DCS sessions and Tank crew we have most nights covered. Painless and Sid and some others do morning sessions as well and I believe they will get in touch if you are keen to join these. If you have any questions then post on forum and someone will be along to help
