@Falconise. FSB Strap to Northbridge has settings from 1.25 all the way up to 1.75 in .02 increments. I have saved the default setting as Profile 1. Do you know how many Profiles you can save? Only shows two right now. Just getting myself organized with recording sheets and making sure I have all the programs downloaded and installed. I might get a chance to do some "playing" later today. Machine really seems to be much faster after reflashing bios. I wonder what I broke?

Reflashed bios to latest version 1201.

I was able to set the voltage to 1.8 using the plus and minus keys on the numpad. The left and right arrow keys did not work. Then I disabled DRAM Static Read Control. DRAM Frequency - DDR2 was at 1111MHz and not the 800 you stated. DRAM Coomand Rate - 2T DRAM Timing Control - Maunual 4 4 4 12 the rest auto Saved and tried to run Memtest but got a message Overclocking Failed. I set everything back to default and here I am. Is next step to increase voltage and is the 1112MHz setting for DRAM Frequency ok or not?

I tried reducing it with Irfanview and got the same thing. Just wouldn't animate.

DD_Arsenal designed a signature for me. It is currently 64kb and I would like to have it reduced to 60kb so that I can use it on Ubi Zoo.

Can't seem to find anything in bios that permits a voltage change. I think I mentioned this earlier in the thread. What exactly am I looking for? Oops! I think I have found it. DRAM voltage and above it, an instruction that you have to enter the exact voltage. I entered 1.8v but it will not F10 to save and exit.

Before I do that Falconise. Memtest has finished running with no errors. And you were correct. I just found the invoice for the OCZ ram.

That didn't work but changing the boot sequence to DVD and changing the drawer did. Memtest is now ticking merrily along. I am posting this on my back up computer. PSU is an OCZ Gamestream 850W. I'll pull a ram stick after Memtest is down. Case is a Thermaltake Armor Full Size Tower. Why do I want to oc TOAD? To get the experience and understand how it all works. And if it makes il2 look better, why not?

Holy Toledo Falconise! That is a ton of stuff you have provided there. Not sure I am up to doing this but I will certainly give it a shot. First thing I will say is that you can upload images the way I did it by using Additional Options and uploading the screen shots. First problem I have encountered is running Memtest. I was able to burn the ISO image ok but when I reboot, it goes right into Windows XP and skips Memtest. Same thing happens when I try to run another CD with an older version of Memtest that I have used before. Boot sequence in Bios is CD Rom first. Any suggestions?

Maybe JP could bring one over. Then it would be worth the hassle just to see him get arrested for smuggling.

Is it worth the hassle? Got to admit I love my 74gb Raptor. I have used less than 50% of the available space and have a hard time figuring why anybody would need a 300GB drive. Do you have any idea what the Customs Duty would be Nick?

I checked Zip Zoom Fly Jabo but like NewEgg they will only ship within the US. There is also NCIX http://www.ncixus.com/products/36681/WD3000HLFS/Western%20Digital%20WD/ but I suspect they also only ship within the US. The other option would be to have it shipped to someone in the US. I know Quazi has done this several times for UK residents. He will repackage it for you and put a low value on the customs declaration. Only problem with this is if it gets lost in transit, insurance would be limited to the declared value.

Thanks Falconise. I'll try answering the easy stuff first. I picked 3.5GHz because I wanted to leave a wide margin of error. I don't play any other games other than iL2 and just wanted to see what effect a mild overclock might have on frame rates. I'd be willing to go higher though. The bios version looks like it is 0605. I have tried to use Asus update to find the latest version but the server always shows busy when I try it. When I try to download a later version and flash it, it never seems to take. The OCZ ram I am using is PC2-5300 at 333 MHz. The stuff you show from NCIX is PC2-9200 at 1150 MHz. Did you make a mistake or are you suggesting I get it? Also I think my RAM 2 screen shot does show the RAM voltage at 1.8. I have looked in the bios but can't find the voltage there. Another funny thing is most of my Extreme Tweaker settings seem to be fixed on Auto. I can change stuff like MHz settings for RAM but that is about all.
