    That almost had me in tears. Very, very sad but a great tribute. Every time a Canadian soldier gets killed in Afghanistan, and there have been 116 so far, they have a similar procession.

    Will the kids ever want to take their pc to school Andrew? A desktop and a notebook might be a good combination. You can find some very nice off lease, laptops from Tiger laptops with Windows XP for about the same price. I also favour the Acer one over the Compaq. It is faster at 2.6 v 2.3 and has a bigger HD. If they don't need a video card then it will not be necessary.

    Just talking with the Quazi man on TS and asked him if he installed Vista and he said no. So it wasn't that issue.

    Carl, if you have Vista, Nero 6 is not compatible. Just google vista and Nero 6.

    Good Rog. I tried to convert it to a format Windows Media Player might recognize but the file was too large to upload.

    Works ok with the flash player I got when I installed keepvid but doesn't seem to work with Windows Media Player. I'll play around with it.

    Perhaps you should consider doing what I did. Go to a store and have them place a 15 and a 17 side by side with the same resolution you want to buy. They don't have to be Asus. Then visit the places you like to surf, like this website or Ubi Zoo and see what looks best. Also, you might want to try increasing the DPI on each screen and see how that looks. Then politely leave saying you want to think about it.
