Joystick Replacement

Looks like my Saitek X52 Pro joystick is gonna let me down. I can feel one loose movement of the stick - like in a ball joint. Question is : Is any place where i can buy just the stick ( without the throttle controller)? And , in case of replacing it, do i need to do anything for installation on the sofware already in? Or the devices are interchangeble (if the same model)?

Hi Ovy have a go at stripping it and have a look inside.

try Ebay for used sticks . Why not buy a MS sidewinder FFB?
