1. DDz Quorum Friar Posted May 23 1. DDz Quorum Posted May 23 Date: 22nd May 2025 Following good teamwork from myself, Blubear, Delta, Max and Fenrir we were able to take out Bravo SAM site and then subsequently capture Sochi airfield, despite the Red forces taking it back after we had initially made it neutral. So we have now moved a little further up the coast. The campaign continues to throw up different challenges each week and I would once again like to thank @wingflyr for the suggestion. 2 Quote
1. DDz Quorum DD_Fenrir Posted May 23 1. DDz Quorum Posted May 23 BluBear and I also managed to eliminate the "AmmonitionDepot" (sic) to the North of Sochi with some thoroughly enjoyable dumb bombing - though, it must be said, making dive bomb attacks with a fast jet into a fairly narrow valley with very steep slopes on either side provides for a few squeaky bum moments! 1 1 Quote

1. DDz Quorum Friar Posted Friday at 09:04 AM Author 1. DDz Quorum Posted Friday at 09:04 AM Update 29th May Many thanks to all those that attended. More ground was made up the coast from Sochi with the taking of the Bravo FARP. After the session I downloaded the latest version of the mission which has added some new performance improvements and in mission features. For example It is now possible to call up EWACS and get bogey information. The Red carrier fleet zone has also moved more off the coast at Sochi. We briefly tested this new version and it does not effect our progress. 2 Quote

A Foothold campaign on the Germany map is being tested at the moment. Needs everyone to have the map of course.... Quote

I prefer the era of primitive heat seeker and semi active radar guided missiles. A mission with less long range SAM sites and more close range AAA would be very cool where the targets are moving convoys and tank columns 1 Quote

You can alternate between the two or three or more if you wish. 1 Quote
