Streak Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Hi all. Got my TrackIr4 Pro hooked-up & running (Oh GBMFrior! it's so much better than using the little joystick on my throttle ), but I need a bit of help. 1. Do you use the default air warfare profile in the TIr software, or is there another I'd be better-off downloading? 2. Sometimes when the game starts or I hit re-fly & spawn-in again, it messes-up. I'll suddenly find myself staring at my seat (if I were sitting in the cockpit I'd be staring at my crotch. Perhaps it knows I'm checking to be sure I've brought the flask of Single Malt along) rather than looking forward. So just how do I recenter it so I'm looking forward again without closing & restarting the programs? ~S~ Noobishstreak Quote
Rattler Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Re-centering the view is set to F12 by default. Quote
BBloke Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Another thing to consider is you can now use your little joystick Quote

BBloke Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 I was thinking more of the stick on the saitek. Quote
Blairgowrie Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 You can get Charvel's profile here: http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/04- ... files.html You may have to download all 10 profiles to get his which shows under Track IR3 profiles. Quote
1. DDz Quorum Friar Posted August 20, 2007 1. DDz Quorum Posted August 20, 2007 welcome to the wonderful world of track ir ! I have the space bar set for centre, its easy to hit when the need arises. BBloke is right about the hat switch, using only the in-game assignments (i dont run stick software on my saitek evo) i have the hat set for elevator trim pos and neg (left and right) and flaps (up and down) i started off with charvels profile but then tweaked it to my preference. Salute Frior Quote
Streak Posted August 20, 2007 Author Posted August 20, 2007 Thanks everyone. I'll have to download the profile when I get home & try it out. Quote
