The last mission tonight, anti shipping, went Pete Tong when I got smacked by a fighter....

I flew the Mossie back to home airfield, thanks for cover by at at least Crash and Delta, and tried an approach. No way would it take it....control was limited so I climbed and bailed. Survived.

Solid aircraft, got me back, but no low speed control with the amount of wing missing....

At least the engineers can smash up an old wardrobe and repair the wing for you!

Glad the mission proved to be a challenge.
