As spoken about last night here is the (long) topic from the Elite: Dangerous forum You would need to be able to solder and I dont know if it will work in 1946, CloD etc.

I thanks you on behalf of my friends...Say, i used to play a game called Elite on a HC 64k bytes (really..) some 20+ years...wandering in the space and trading between stars , is it the same concept? And if yes where and how can i join ?

This accelerometer based system has got to be the future of head tracking but it doesn't look ready just yet.

In the meantime, freetrack will get you the same functionality as TrackIR for $30 or $40 using a PS3 Eye Camera and the same basic construction/soldering skills.

Bumping this thread. According to the EDtracker website http://edtracker.org.uk/index.php/using/game-support it should run on ANY game that supports Opentrack so it could be the solution if cash is tight.
