Black Water ?

I have installed a new graphic card and when I run in perfect mode my water is black.

 

Any tips on how to resolve this issue?  Confini file setting?  a good kick in the arse?  Give up and go fishing?

Tonar, this is a texture flag issue you get because you've swapped from an ATI card to an Nvidia one.  You need to go into config. and change these three lines to this;

 

 

TexFlags.TexEnvCombine4NV=1
TexFlags.DepthClampNV=1
TexFlags.TextureShaderNV=1

 

 

 

 

 

You can then change water to 3 or 4 for improved quality as ATI cards only support Water 2.

Those settings above are in both the render openGL and render directx sections of the config file. I assume you want to change them in the openGL section.
