Has anyone had a problem with losing spring tension but not shake effects with a Sidewinder? I have just turned off the FFB and it has returned but obviously no shaking. Any ideas???

Only on one axis at the time ...  :shaunhb:   Y-axis, if I recall correctly.

'Fixed' it by editing spring.ffe. Thought it had no force defined on the Y.

But, in the end, I went back to using the original spring.ffe file (dated 2001 lol)

So, I dunno, really what has happened there...

Well I copied the whole FFB folder from my 4.11 backup and made the files read only and its working again (for now) I will see how it goes.

Only if I tab out and back into the game. I take it that this isn't the same problem?

No Nick I would start out with the stick behaving its self and then I would loose tension. This has happened several times and it happened Sunday night during the mission. (this is my excuse for not hitting anything :) ) I am still a bit peed off with the stats saying I crashed when I landed!
