As there's no longer an Open Beta version, our name of our DCS server has now been changed to DangerDogz (used to be DangerDogz-OB)

No ping kick. The Log file just shows he disconnects. As if he hit Esc, disconnect. He can connect to the server whenever Garrapata is connected, but he's just getting disconnected after a few minutes. No errors at all! Check that excerpt of the logfile I posted above: Garrapata joins, and about three minutes later, Nogin leaves. Here's another example, where Nogin joins, and leaves after a few minutes - you cannot see here that Garrapata is connected, but he is. [19:05:04] Server: Nogin is now connected. Both Nogin and Garrapata have IP addresses that change every once in a while. It is mind boggling ...

Well, I did change a port setting, form 27016 to 27015. Now ... gotta wait and see! Maybe check your log file if you see any error occurring on your game Nogin. Log file is called log.lst and resides in the My Documents\1c Soft(...) folder...

Been thinking about this issue, and still have no idea. However, I do remember seeing you both online at the same time so I thought it fixed itself? Weird stuff! Worst thing that could happen is that it would have to download the files it would otherwise have copied form the other installation. That's how I see it - it's just a hunch, I am not sure!

Oh man, I completely forgot about mods and JSGME and shift... sorry about that - But those should be like very high on the list of trouble shooting the not obvious issues! But then, how many mods do you use? I still only have the dd-icon thing and the back ground mute one

All is fine on the server post patch. The most important bits are still perfect!

complete windows install going from AMD to Intel: Sorry, cannot tell. Never tried that. 'used to run fine': Sure, I know, my Asus board and water cooled i7 did that on 'Fast' overclock setting. Until it no longer did! Now if you try and do not overclock, and see what gives. What if it's stable and fast enough?

What I really did like about the P38 campaign were the personas - you are someone, until you go POW or worse... (It's a lot of work though, keeping the scores!)

Difficult to tell. One thing I do know for sure, is that if your c'puter has stability issues then first stop over clocking. Overclocking sounds nice and smart and bad ass 'n' all - but if it aint stable, it is just bad without the ass ...

In theory it is possible, as Fenrir can operate the DCS server from the web interface, so you should be able to use the server for coop hosting. On the other hand, we do want the server to be running as lean and mean as possible, because, well, we do not want to see Mosquitoes ending up in the drink due to you hitting 'Generate mission' button now do we?
