Just deleted some 30 skin files where their names ended with (1) or (2)... Duplicates! Please be careful when downloading skins and saving them... Usually, when your browser downloads a file that already exists, it will automatically name it adding (1) to it. Or (2) if (1) already existed... So, it will not ask you to overwrite!

Not sure if it should be here, not even sure it's of this campaign, and really sure not from the last mission... but hey ho...

Great idea. I like it. And should be doable - Like a list of types one can check mark ... Select all, select none .... select random ... lol Then again, it would defeat the whole point of it... would it not? Then we'd still run a good chance one picks a skin, and the other does not see it! And, I would have to create a default DD default-favorites list, plus let you save your own favorites list for the next time... sigh... lots of work! Furthermore, we got 5GB of P51 skins, 5GB of P47 skins, 3GB of P38 skins - that's already getting close to 1/3rd of the total. For these three planes. Take some more popular models into account and ... well, you'd still be having lots-a-skins! Like still a silly amount... Furthermore, the thing is geared towards fire-and-forget. Do we want to add any complexity? Better start a poll, see how many people would be interested in this: I mean, DD's that are not using it now, and who would start using it if this functionality were built in. If that number is over 10 - I might consider putting it in... Like said, I really do like the suggestion - but is it worth the while?

I do ... except when we do the P38 Campaign, it's a server side 'realism' option ...

in game, you can also switch off the icons completely... Check what key you've got set at 'Service, Show/Hide Instrument Panel, Navigation and Map markers' - and try and press that one in cockpit...

Icons may have been switched off in the Realism settings? Keep it simple, and connect to our dogfight server, climb into a cockpit, make sure the HUD bar is visible, look around or press F2 and you should see a blue triangle over your a/c ...

I do like the idea ... I do miss a lot of a/c and maps and missions in the currently active SIMS. Now here's where I had planned a whole list of buts and ifs... instead, I fired it up... and it runs, I hosted a DF map, jumped in a Mitchell ... and all my controls still work! w00t! Had archived my hosting tools... undid that... Looks like I'm good to go for Saturday - no need to test, I can host ... lol

lol... layout is all very recognizable. I did not recognize the airport (Teuge) at first sight, but it's been ages since I've been there on the runway. Once the river came into view, next the highway, and the built up area ... my place of work was even there. Buildings are... there, but their shape's ... off. Specifically those old ones, old mighty beautiful churches! Not there.. too bad... And what's up with that bridge? lol. The atmosphere is very good, the greenish stuff on the ground, the sky with cloud cover... that's looks great and very true to life... Thanks for flying/recording/showing that Arthur! I now know it's a good thing I did not get it When it's in this shape/stage, it's not for me... I'd constantly be comparing and analyzing... and thinkin' 'missing' 'wrong'... etc...

Sorry Crash, there's no way for me. After fiddling for some time, I kinda think I get somewhere, make progress with it, only to get bogged down again and again. It's not worth my time. Can't be arsed, my brains and the ME are 99% incompatible... Better try and find someone who can do it...

Well, I could try and look into that. That would mean me working with the in the messing mission editor ... And I might be able to get a spawn point in, but to get some action in? Will try, but no promises...

Will make sure the 005 Rheinland map is running pre-campaign mission - it has an air spawn
