Just booked my tickets for the Friday and Saturday. Annoyingly, the Friday ticket went up from £34 to £40 since I last looked, just a heads up for those wanted to come and not yet booked.

Just seen the latest line-up and even with many possible attendees still yet to confirm, it's already turning into a real cracker. Apparently the 78thFG checker-nose P-51 'Frances Dell' and T6 from Germany have self confirmed on their website too. Going to pick up my tix for the Friday and Saturday this weekend.

Well, there's quite a bit of activity at DX in getting their fleet back in the air, with the Gladiator making its first engine runs since 2017 last week. Also, the BBMF have self confirmed their attendance both days on their website: Displays | Battle of Britain Memorial Flight | Royal Air Force (mod.uk) I wouldn't rule it out just yet.

New Year, New Airshow season imminent. After seeing a couple of promising news items recently, I thought I'd create a thread for general discussion on airshows and possible meet ups this year. First up, for those of us that remember a fantastic little farm-strip show down here in the South East, at the one time home of P-51D Big Beautiful Doll, I was delighted to read that it is set to return this year after many years absent. For me it is within cycling distance and I have already marked my diary. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100086002723262 Secondly, the most tantalising evidence yet that Flying Legends may finally return this year, at a venue currently unknown. The source being the USAF F-35A demo team schedule which was just published: As soon as an official announcement on the latter is made, if it's a go-er; put me down for the whole weekend!
