I lead my shift in a diamond formation while walking to lunch yesterday. They didn't exactly know what was going on but after some small corrections we formed a four ship diamond. LOL

I served them 5 1/2 years. Hard knocks(mostly) up to 2004 and started studying for my engine mechanic certificate while working there and passed the exams last february. Planning to start studying for my bachelor next year, to qualify as a machine engineer. Didn't really have any ambitions before I started working as a mechanic.

Wings of prey has the looks, IL-2 has the flight physics. That's basically it. I'm not the guy that buys a sim for it's looks so I'll wait for SoW, or maybe get RoF in the meantime.

I've been using AS5, OCZ Freeze and IC7 Diamond for a while now. They are pretty much equal and one degree +- doesn't really matter. I like AS5 for workability though. Conductivity is only something you need to worry about if you're clumsy. Did someone say watercooling? Hell yeah! Once you start with it you never look back:

I had the same problem but in my case it was overheating. After a short cool down period of not using it, my FFB came back. For some reason I don't have that problem anymore, possibly because I lowered the spring tensions in the profiler.

~S~ Well, England always atleast qualifies for the world cup but I agree on the hairstyle-thingy. I stopped watching football some years ago because of guys like C.Ronaldo entered the sport and always keep diving and generally acting like a spoiled brat, arguing with the referee etc. I'm more of a Handball fan, and motorsport ofcourse. F1 though is basically just a sleeping pill for me. The restriction rules have killed the sport IMO.

~S~ All axes are 0-5-10-20-30-40-50-60-70-80-100 in game. Apart from the pedals, haven't touched those. Stock. In the profiler settings I have: Overall effects, spring effect and Damper effect set to 32% Centering spring enabled and centering spring strength at 30%. I find that when using those axis settings you get a smoother stick feel and having a bit of lower sensitivity center area(0-5-) you get rid of the G940's forward sag input when you release the stick. Using 10-20-30- was way too nervous for me. Got pretty impossible not to over correct. Cheers!

I love those maneuvers. I bet they have a hand ready on the ejection handle when they do that. Reminds of this Belgian F-16 I saw in 2007: There was a Dutch F-16 there as well, it almost looked like they had challenged eachother to whom would do the best solo routine. Best airshow I've ever been to, with JAS Gripen, Eurofighter, F-16's, F-4's, Raphale M's, Tornado, all kinds of prop planes, civil aircrafts and Bell H-1 choppers with a bunch of special forces dangling underneath them to name a few.
