this is probably 14th time i'm saying this: we should express time in GMT (that's not London or English time) GMT does not move. it has no DST. if we express time in GMT any of us can calculate how far he is from GMT.

this time i would put big DD sign on the back with the call sign beneath. on the front, where we had DD sign last year i would put the tail number.

looks great. but i would stick with Windows 7 32bit. If u do not know what u r doing u could be in a lot of problems with drivers and programs not compatible with 64bit.

it's not the prob in balance. i've played a bit with direction gyro and got it to be bit steadier at least in one direction. and yes i am doing all that indoors. at least till i get little training.
it's handful and very interesting. i've learned a lot about chopper flying.

i've got the simulator with the chopper but it is so unrealistic that i've gave up on it
for now i'm just trying to make it hover stable. next would be to try to fly it some meters ahead and then to try to get it back. -
bought my self a RC helicopter. It is a coaxial outdoor model for beginners.

i was really surprised how hard it is to fly even a beginners model. i'm not sure is it my flying or the chopper is supposed to be so unstable. would be very grateful for any tips u have for me. it has a gyro. maybe needs some tuning?

Question; has anyone tried a program called HDD Regenerator to repair damaged drives? If so does it work and is it worth spending £27 to (possibly) get 30-odd GBs of data back?

what exactly is wrong with your hdd?. what does it do or does not.?
sometimes putting hdd in the freezer for couple of hours can give you few minutes to copy data to another drive. something like an aspirin in the car battery.

Are you sure? If OT wraps up the RAM well and sticks it in a tiny parcel and labels it SMALL PACKAGE and writes on the declaration sticker that it's a 'toy' worth $2, I'm sure postage/shipping won't be more than a few quid and he'll bypass customs.

There is no question about OT's good intentions but i think the shipping from England will probably cost u more then the RAM. Memory is cheap today DVD's also.
Proc is one thing that could make a difference.

I did as u told

first dl and install TeamSpeak 2 Client EU 4 NETplayers and them DL the second TeamSpeak 2 Client (Updated Executable)EU 4NETplayers.
The first one , no probs. The second, u told me to "dl the second one and save it in the ts folder replacing the original", but i can run it cause it keep give this error box msg:"loading hawlvoive (hvdi.dll) Maybe not installed?"
can u tell me what to do?

OK, BA. I allready made an install of a 4.09m, and now when i run IL2, instead of having V. 4.08in the screen, i have "4.09m".
1. how do i do a separate install? if a can now, since i allready did this install?
2. when u say next few days , r we talking about 2, 3 5 days? or more??? can u tell?
Cause if it's only a couple days i think it's better to wait for UI 1.2, don't u think so?
BTW, and forgive my ignorance on this matters, WTF is UI 1.2, anyways, LOL?

1. the easiest way would probably be to uninstall the IL2 completely;
- install 4.07m and apply 4.08m patch.
- make a copy of your IL2 folder to some other location. that will be your moded version later
- now you can apply 4.09m patch and replace il2fb.exe with the one in the voult
at this point u have standard install in program files dir that is patched to 4.09m final and a copy of 4.08m
now on this copy u can apply everything that is in the post that BG posted link above.
2. i chose not to bother with UI until we all decide to start using it. for now the AAA mod pack is the only one officially accepted by all dogz

88 does not fly good below 200km/h. lend it @ 200, 190 minimum. prop pitch does not have big influence in lending. it's primary mission is to save fuel and to keep engine cooler on long level flights. it also can help when in high speed dive. prop pitch is much like gears in a car. when u go up hill u need to be in a first gear (0 prop pitch) when u drive level u can start shifting gears upwards. u gain speed, engine is running slower but it is in fact weaker. if u loose to much speed it wont pool any more so u have to reduce prop pitch. when u go down hill if u r in first gear u can't go fast cause the engine brakes but if u put it in third or forth gear it will go faster. same thing is with prop pitch.
sometimes people use prop pitch to reduce torque of the engine while landing
