  4. Croatian Aviation celebrated 100 years of existence (same as Swedish ) and i was on the airshow that tuck place in Zagreb. Although Croatia had aces on both side (Allied and Axis) we do not have any airworthy Spit, Hurry, 109, 87 or any other famous plane. here are some pictures: replica of the airplane that was built 1910 by the Slavoljub Penkala, who also built first Airport in Croatia. That was the beginning of Croatian Aviation. Antonov AN-2 and my ugly mug in it Polikarpov Po-2 Pitts S2B Eurocopter EC 130 B4 my favorite Sea Wind 4 seats, can land on land or water. perfect family ride nameless Meteor Only two of these entirely metal gliders where built in Croatia in 1957 and this one is still flying. a pair of engine equipped gliders

  11. what did u get guys??
  12. must be very interesting sitting in the cabin, doing your work and than the machine starts to sink. with you in it glad u r ok Jim. the machine could tipped with u in it
  13. i got my self a Belt CP v2. still did not manage to take it of the ground few times i did try i broke something; one pair of blades, two blade shafts, one main shaft and now my motor controller caught fire. for now i'm just going to try to skid on the floor the way i want. when i get the feeling that i'm in control i'll try with hovering again. anyone has a good RC spare parts link that will sell to Europe? here are two sites i've used so far: http://www.rcmodelpart.com/ got 2x LiPoly 2200mA 11.1V batteries for 30$ there and shipping for free!! http://www.rcmaterial.com/
  14. :fireworks: have good one boys !!
  15. make a post and i'll promote it to tutorial
  16. nice pics Pappy! small correction; the fifth picture from the top is not a FW. it is a bf109
  17. just to make things clear. explanation about serial connecting the LED's is for this case only. LED's can be connect parallel, serial or combination but it depends on the voltages and the number of the LED's
  18. it is not so important that resistor get's hot. 4.7 ohm is good value. only thing u can do is buy a resistor with the same ohm value but higher wattage. but 4.7ohm 1/8W 5% resistor should be ideal. it is also importnant that the leds are soldered in series. like this: like i've said; it is normal for resistor to be warm or even a little hot but not so much that it can get unsoldered. bigger wattage resistor will dissipate less heat.
  19. yep, u r right. i've entered wrong value for the Forward Voltage my bad
  20. how did u get the resistor value? it seems way to low to me. did u use the calculator i've put the link.? i've entered the values for SFH485P and i got 20 ohms.
  21. probably the update did not finish as it should. download latest client from the net and install again.
  22. 1. OSRAM SFH485P takes 1.5V @ 100mA current so USB power is sufficient. 486602_DS.pdf 2. U need to have resistor not only to suppress Voltage then the current to. so a resistor is a must. Here is a good calculator for the purpose. SFH485P has 1.5V Forward voltage and 100mA Forward current. 3. that is correct Gec
  23. u r absolutely right about that m8. and u r also absolutely free to use any tactics that u think is good one.
  24. mobo's should make some beeps to. is there any?
  25. ~S~ Jabo and congrats m8 one day when i grow up i'll be three years too
