thx. Jabo! i've checked the RC Simulations and the price is 99 pounds. that's almost double than in the States.

I'd like to buy TIR 4 Pro (it's current price @ Naturalpoint is 100$) If I buy it overseas, I'd like to know if there is a good soul that would repack it and send it to me by regular mail. of course, if someone knows for a better price for a same thing that would be great to.

if u do not use any sw that will do it for u here is the way to do it manually: create a file in the game folder called let say icons.cmd. edit it with notepad and put this inside: mp_dotrange FRIENDLY DOT 15.0 TYPE 0.0 COLOR 2.5 NAME 1.0 RANGE 0.5 ID 2.0 mp_dotrange FOE DOT 15.0 TYPE 0.0 COLOR 2.5 NAME 1.0 RANGE 0.5 ID 2.0 change the settings according to this: when u r done, open the server.cmd file with notepad and put f icons.cmd before the mission LOAD ... statement.

can u post a picture of the files u have in the folder BG? i've read somewhere that downloaded version of IL2 is somehow different, and is patched differently than a DVD version. if i find the info, i'll post it here.

In any case it's no trouble for any Dogz no mater where they are.

could be the video card that is not slotted right. try resetting it also. memory checking utility is of none help if u have nothing on the screen.

i've got my self used Sitek pedals and have no problems with them. Didn't try CH pedals, but I've heard a lot of good opinions about them. CH is more expensive than Saitek. The learning curve that one builds while flying without pedals suddenly goes back to zero with the pedals. But then rises again more rapidly than without them. Important thing in the beginning is to remember to use them. When i first got mine, i've used them only for take off. After take off one needs to keep reminding hem self that he needs to use them. After some time it comes natural.

Here is the demonstration video from YouTube that shows exactly what i'm saying. u can see how pilots head turns slow and he never checks hes six. in other hand this video shows much nicer side of the facetrack doing exactly what it should. may be still a bit slow.

you can use router as a firewall but configuring that type of firewall requires good knowledge about configuring rules. Usually the firewalls in the routers we have at home are disabled or set up as "allow all". so basically no use of them. that's why most of us have software firewall installed to. the point is that even the most expensive antivirus or firewall will not save you from viruses if u as a user are not careful, and have at least basic knowledge about what not to do on the internet.

i'm sure it is not going to pass to much time till UP guys incorporate this patch and all is updated via UP updater.

the processors have the graphics built in it. The H board only have the display connector soldered on it so u can use on processor graphic. That's the same as onboard graphic just this time it is on the processor meaning much faster. The P boards are for those like us that need more graphic power than this implemented can offer. So it does not have connectors. instead it has more PCIe 16x slots, extra controller for triple and more SLI and some other cool stuff. also if u want to OC your processor, u'll have to buy K version. H boards, taking that they will be implemented in lower end computers, and probably depending on the manufacurer of the board does not have OC options in the BIOS menu. In other hand P board does.
