  1. Dang looked like they were trying to go striaght up the whole time. Surely the pilot wasn't pulling it into such a stall.
  2. Nice didn't know that. Noticed the houses @3:21 look like the modern suburbs we see being built the last 15-20 years???
  3. Welcome back M8! This thread http://dangerdogz.com/forums/topic/10250-new-or-returning-to-active-service-with-the-dogz/ should square you away.
  4. only use a profile for the X-45 to banned the rudder rocker to control left and right engines and a PT button for TS. IL2, ROF, and Clod support having 4 controllers so I haven't the need so far for anymore profilers.
  5. LOL saw this the other day, it still makes me smirk

Ok, as you know I'm fully aware of the Job of Moderating. I do wish I'd of shown up sooner and seen the postings afterwards. None the less I feel I have to try and explain myself. I have a feeling they just jumped the gun and got mad at the first picture and didn't even look to see the Jerry's with their oversized eyeball glasses on in the bottom picture. The Ironically funny aspect to me was Top Picture showing the "Full deadly seriousness" of the picture compared to the "Jolly go lucky mood" of the second, in consecutive order on my PC Screen. How anyone here can't see the Ironic humor from that, baffles me and how they can justify playing WW2 PC games using Axis weapons/ and equipment, hoping to virtually destroy some others Allied virtual life. IRONIC? Heck our banner this week is even sporting the Swastika, No complaints on that is there? Were here to game and have fun. If someone here has a problem send me a PM, I've already had one.

Ah I see what thread it was, I apologies if my FB screen shot greased the slippery slope down hill. I just signed in today so i have no idea how it went from that point.
  10. About this https://www.facebook.com/pages/Freeman-Field-Recovery-Team/100776559984890 I knew about the Museum in Dayton, but heck there is digging to do!

    Apologies

Well good luck with it Zooly, keep in touch, Consider learning to fly with the other hand, can't be much worse than you are now could it ;-)
  12. Yep, that's my point. Fruitbats settings are soft compared to mine I've tried them, they have the same effect on me as well too much wandering, and sluggish in the turns. But as I said it depends on your ham fisted style and your stick and its condition ultimately. Oh I just re read through my Numbers up there, those are before what I found that worked well before 4.10 for me. I'm still in the hunt. Anything not listed below here are all set to 100 all the way across. Aileron 53 60 66 71 76 83 87 91 95 100 Aileron Trim 1 11 23 37 48 59 70 80 90 100 Brakes 0 0 20 40 50 60 70 80 90 100 I have this dead zone built in to keep me from dragging the brakes inadvertently. Apologies

+1 I guess I missed something, What happen to your shoulder? Toughing out rudder pedal with my Knee been a chore too. Thus the reason I volunteered for the 52 run, Level trim ;-)
  14. Yeh, it all dependent on how Ham fisted you are and how your actual individual joystick reacts to the game.
  15. go 80/80 prop/throttle, only go 100 on prop on take off and landing, and exceptions in battle, but not very long, like a short climb. You can go to 100 on throttle with pitch at 80 for a spell, but I wouldn't for extended amounts of time.
  16. +1 Roger The guys have been asking, I've even had others ask us through game chat/coms ask if the DD server was coming back.
  17. Was posting this, and thought I better look to see if anyone else has. Well there ya go LOL Not sure about the the Deluxe addon, I've already got those weapons unlocked from time spent. But it shows some new uniforms, I've never seen where you could choose your uniform in the Standard version, or maybe it just allows those uniforms to show up on the enemy?
  18. Are you cycling the activation key (shaders on/off) mine is key 145 that is on the keyboard (Scroll Lock)
  19. You have to run some sort of SweetFx, FlightFX etc. to correct the jaggies. Trying to force it with game settings or Nvidia just doesn't work. I'm using FlightFX myself and only correcting the AA with the Ultra SMAA set to max. I've seen some screen shots from an old friend Gozr with more tweaked that look real nice, but he has yet to give out his configuration on it yet.
  20. I'm using FlightFX and nothing more than the Ultra SMAA turned on.
  21. The idea is to force the Server/Clients to the weakest link (IE) connection, then rely on the Hardware to crunch the numbers at the required flow of things. We all have machines built within the last 5 years most likely, and we all have some sort of broadband connection. So we have the hardware to crunch the numbers no problem. Broadband's biggest advantage is it allows more players/moving objects per game/mission. Oleg had it right enough in the beginning to handle 20 players on 56k, now days those kind of speeds would just piss us all off. Whether he changed the way the game handles the net traffic since then I do not know. But the same settings appear to still work. 10k/10k regardless of advancements in hardware and connections through the years. If you still have clients affected by warp etc. from that point, then we need to double check that clients, Net speed setting in conf.ini, and if it is correct we need to find out that persons true connection speeds, and packet loss. It may well be that that individual just doesn't have enough connection speed/bandwidth to handle the traffic of 40+ clients connected to him. I've had 30 machines networked together at LAN parties 8 to 10 years ago, and the 100,000 worked fine, but when allowing friends from around the world join in to the LAN party on my 5meg IIRC connection back then we had to drop it back to 10,000 It's got to be a language barrier here, I can't beleive were having so much trouble with this conversation and the understanding of it.
  22. Yes Sparx is one of the old originals that I help test this stuff with years ago, He also helped when we were filming and had 99 players for some of the Mysticpuma movies.
