I could say several things about Eamonn de Valera and his government but lets just leave it while remembering that while over 50,000 Irishmen chose to enlist in the British army to fight Hitler during WW2 the Irish government choose to remain so neutral they even managed to send their regrets to Berlin through their diplomatic staff on learning of Hitlers death in May '45!!! The other thing that slaps me round the face is that the Eagle pilots were stripped of their American citizenship!!! I find that astonishing! These free citizens of a friendly democracy came to help their cousins put down a monster and FDR's administration did that to them!? Never knew that at all. In the UK I don't think our government can do that. It might be different if you've become a naturalised citizen but if you're born British there's no way to take that away from you.

Colin, Jabo very kindly did me a dvd of some sixty episodes of the Goon Show!!! I got one of my boys to put half of it on his i-pod nano (which he dosen't use anymore since he got an i-phone) and I listen to it through the car stereo via a, er thing.......which plugs into the i-pod and broadcasts on fm to the car stereo. It cost nineninetynine (my favourite price) from a petrol station a couple of years ago. It works a treat.

Whatever you wanna do Angus but I'm deffo interested in the E8400. I've got a Gigabyte mobo which is good for overclocking and a GTX460 so I think it'll give me a decent boost in RoF and CloD.

Angus, I would very very much like your E8400 to replace my E6600 and am very willing to pay postage from Canada to the UK. However, I quite understand that you'd rather get rid of the gear as a job-lot so if you get a better offer then take it m8. Full real on the channel map, fairly well populated as dogfight servers go and a good way to learn the eccentricities of CEM. I'm pretty sure the '109 is not as it should be though. Get into any turn and burn with the rotol Hurricane and you're deadmeat with not have enough speed to break off the engagement Infact for me the rotol Hurricane is the outstanding plane of this sim at the moment. Stable, easily managed and eight .303's at convergence are deadly to anything.

Flown online tonight with new patch and hotfix ( I think) and I was very impressed. There seems to be light anti-aircraft fire where there was none before and it's done very well. 303's ploughing into the field around a low flying and evading 109 were great. I got 'im aswell Switched sides and flew the 109 which seems to have gained some speed and no overheating/engine shaking problems. Covered a guy taking big lumps out of a Spitty which caught fire slowly and watched the fire spread. Overall, stable and very playable Shadrach; yeah, I agree. It did seem to improve over the course of half an hour or so. It's gettin' there.

I agree with this. The North American Steam market is bigger than the rest of the world combined and if they release CoD as it is now they'd be overwhelmed by the avalanche of sh1t that would swiftly overwhelm them. I would imagine Ubisoft management must be considering their global reputation. Pity though as I still think CoD has star potential when it's sorted. I firmly believe thats a "when" not an "if." Double pity as it means no North American guys in multi-player yet so for night-owls like me there's no-one online after 11p.m. gmt. Mind you, the last beta patch completely screwed multi-player for me anyway. Haven't had a chance to try the new official patch yet.
