  12. Hello geezers Due to the fact that I made some headway in learning about the reflective layers I have redone the 485 skins, the paintwork is better and gives a much better finish. I don't intend doing any more work on them so please redownload them from below. They will also be in the Vault and via Checkskins. Thanks for your cooperation and cheers Tom for the info. 15. Sid's in...!!! Prior notice chaps, I will be putting 485 skins in here ready for tonight. Hoping to get them up 19.00 ish. I will also put them into Checkskins.
  16. And F11 toggles the instrument panel and aircraft/ground markers
  17. I like that twin engined Diamond, it's what I spend most of my time in
  18. I know it's something I have gone on about a lot....🙄... but I get disappointed when our guys call out enemy aircraft that have been spotted on the mini map or main map. Not many still use full icons ie. names, types, distances, but I don't see the need for them at all as long as each of us has a dot or triangle to aid in spotting similar to what the majority use now. I would love to have the '46 system where icons can be set to be visible at a distance but we don't. Still hoping.....
  19. Good, top marks for determination
  20. So far I am flying using just the Saitek X52 hotas and rudder pedals and Trackir. Seems enough. The game recognised my controllers and in the Controls section I get a piccie of the stick and what the buttons are allocated to. Easy to print off and write on as a quick reference.
  21. It decided I was Ultra but I run on High because it gives me an average 40 fps as opposed to 30 over London
  22. I'm up for the challenge though......will be fun to find Git's to fly over
  23. Sat on the ground at Long Marston near Warwick... I like your ambience and atmosphere Arthur, be interesting to know what you have....inevitable really....graphics set at
  24. No piccies yet.... Took off from Staverton airport near Gloucester at about 1900 local time in the twin engined Diamond. Picked up the M5 motorway and followed it north towards Worcester with the River Severn and the Malvern Hills on my left....all very good looking and familiar. Flew over Upton Marina with all the boats moored up, over Worcester (minus the cathedral) and over Droitwich Spa. I could recognise the layout and the street mapping is very accurate....my place is there although it is still pre 2017 when the Oso salt works was a cleared area. Flew back to Staverton in a very nice light with the sun going down behind the Malverns. Approached the airport over the motorway and landed, taxied to the hanger area where there were ground crew batoning me in. Switched off. Staverton is very well modelled and is an accurate portrayal of the airport, even down to me being directed to the correctly placed luggage handling area. All in all, I am impressed and am looking to getting some more hours in. For those having install issues I hope you do manage to get it installed because it is worth it.
