1. Yep, that's new to me - lol
2. Too good to miss - Just bought the Sabre and the Dora for less than £20!
3. Squawk gets the prize then I guess. By the way, what is it?
4. Wow. Just...wow. Thats a proper work of art. Never mind unmade beds, piles of bricks and bits of sharks - you hearing me Tracy and Damien? This is very good indeed FT. Now what? Here's an idea. If you can't get a Dutch museum to take it, have you considered offering it to the IWM? Actually there may be a museum specifically for airborne services, I'll check if you're interested?
5. In point of fact although the Spitfire was significantly faster and more maneuverable than the 110 there are documented cases of 110s being able to get away from Hurricanes in a shallow dive (although much depends on the individual start points of the chase). I had the chance to try this during Fruitbat's 'Nine Lives' mission and my results seem to bear that out as my 110 was able to gradually pull away from a chasing Hurri (I was never in gun range) and once I got over land on the other side of the Channel he broke away to head for home.
6. I was going to say some sort of Russian s***e too. Nice piccies Swooperton!
7. @FT lol. @Painless - did you buy the wash ready mixed or make your own? If the latter - how? Sorry for all the questions.
8. Nice detail work Mick. Which technique did you use to get the weathering effects?
9. Lol, although the best bit was the last two words
10. They is wicked trousers man, with all pockets and shit Sent from my SM-T210 using Tapatalk
11. Nice finds ODH and definitely a help to people unfamiliar with the locale. Incidentally I've edited the thread titile for you.
12. That's interesting, I thought I'd posted about the DDz on the forum way back before I got so bored with the bitching and the fanboyism that I stopped using the forums at all. The post has probably been 'moderated'

Just to clarify a point, I'm talking about Battle of Stalingrad not CloD
13. Same here. Depends on whether you want air quake or immersion IMO
14. Re: Compass, after a while you'll find you don't need it because you'll get the hang of the geography, so you'll know where you are and a squint at the map will tell you where you need to go. And because the landscaping is so good you can see landmarks a good distance off.
15. Getting CloD setup is a headache for the majority of people I think - it certainly was for me - accidentally assigning axes and keys together was the main one.

A selection of photos from airshows and museums, updated as I take 'em
17. You're most welcome - personally I use Firefox pretty much all the time and Chrome only when I have to.
18. Just use the current mission on the DDZ Clod server.
19. I use windows 7 aero, no problems. My set up seems to drop to win 7 classic when clod starts up and then goes back to aero when I close the game. Why it does this I have no idea!
