was a bit bored today so took the rig to pieces and cleaned everything in nice, soapy water (ok, maybe not quite), installed it all back in a new case with new fans, cables & LEDs so I can see where to plug things in, re-worked my standard build iso to include a few exra programs and reinstalled the lot - takes about 30 minutes now. I'll get the controllers sorted in due course - but it's been a nice day.

What Friar said. It's also worth bearing in mind that like the Sidewinder, the software bundle doesn't work on win 7 but the native drivers work fine for the ffb and you can assign the buttons in-game

I agree with FT on the hyperthreading - yeah, looks great on paper but I'm not so certain in real life - Whichever option you go for, make sure you get the K variant, this is completely unlocked and suitable for overclocking if you want to go down that route - I've got an i5 2500K and it's happily handled everything I've thrown at it so far
