If your feeling brave, you can get USB plugs and things from places like maplins, so if you can work out which wire goes where (there's only four), you could probably effect a repair. Worth trying before shelling out for a new camera bit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hang in there Jake and bear in mind that even if it's 'no' now, that doesn't automatically mean it's 'no' later. So if the news isn't what you want, come back and fly with us on Saturdays when you'll always be welcome and once we all know each other, there may be room for a different decision. Jabo P.S. Lol Bongo. I've had a tootle about in it now including a few touch and go's and landings and it's a bit lighter on the controls than I was expecting and it will be nice to have some FFB but all things considered, very nice indeed. Jabo

Tonar's right, that other cap could certainly give you a jolt, so be sure to leave the thing disconnected from the mains for a good while before working on it. Other than that, the size of the solder pads on the pcb might be an issue if you haven't a small enough soldering iron (and a steady hand) Jabo
