Did a search on tinterweb and found a newer driver and now all is good

I ordered another gamepad to calibrate the FFB. On the first and second calibration screens it show the device as connected but on the rumble set up it doesnt show the device. So thats put an end to the shaker idea. Maybe I could roll back windoze but I have a sneaky felling that it will put the update back on at some inconvenient time.

To be honest I dont really understand WTF is going on. I understand Reddog and PhilStyle getting a bit pissed off with the very slow progress of TF and there is a clash with Snapper? but for me at least, DCS will be rather slow to develop (how is the P-47 going?) and the main part of the game is P-51 v Bf109 v SpitIX v Fw190 in short mainly a dogfight. They arnt interested in BoX which I feel is most likely to be the true successor to the original especially if the hosted coops happen. The real losers in this mess are the community. What a shame that Oleg messed up with the original CLoD.

The Windows 10 Creators update killed it I cant set up the effect screen due to having no buttons/joysticks and it wont save when I move the slider with my mouse.

They did, now my rumbler mod on the Warthog doesnt work

I tried to install it yesterday but it failed however as its M$ it will no doubt force an install just as I am starting a gaming session, so I might as well get it sorted when it suits ME Well I forced the update and stuff appears to work but they must have messed something up.

You will probably need a stronger card than a 970 at the very least a 980 so get saving

Last turn a bit low there Arthur If/when nvidia sort out the driver issue for the 780ti I will set this up again. If they dont then I will have to go the 1080/Occulus Rift route Oh dear

Reddog and philstyle have now pulled the TF discussion forum from the SoW website. Looks like they have now moved to DCS

I wish there was a FFB mod for the Warthog. I do get a bit of shake with the gear/flaps down and as I approach stall but its not the real deal.

I use push to talk for TS so........ I have VA set to listen except when I push to button to talk on TS.

Last night as some might have noticed there was a lot of commands coming from me to my wingman and ground control. This was due to me trying out VoiceAttack I will need to do some tweaking but it should be a great help as I wont be fiddling with menus I intend to use it mainly with Elite but it has other uses as well
