If the thing started with after you put the GPU in then there could very well be something with the card that still needs installing.
I've just installed the drivers for the X850 on my server and it installed 2 x VGA displays (primary and secondary) and I had something else in the Device Manager install (it was listed as Other Device).
I installed the Omega ATI drivers and it stated that it did not include the WDM drivers.
The other device is something that has tried to install but has quite managed it.
I would try and track it down as to what it maybe. I don't think the above are related.
Strange that this thread so come to mind but I have just received and email from ASDA (Dont know why) with a subject of: "Threat the two women in your life".
For someone that may be interested in a swap.
I have an X850 XT AGP card in my W2K Server machine and it is overkill to say the least. (Please see below image for actual core and mem clocks. It is running at XT PE specs (540/590)
It needs a good home to go to but I would require a replacement card to go back in my server.
I have installed a new Zalman Flower VGA heatsink and fan to it.
Glad to hear you and all your loved ones are safe Quazi.
I missed the big F5 in 99 that ripped through Oklahoma by days but drove through the path of destruction.
Keep safe.
Yeah, V-Sync locks your maximum FPS to your Refresh Rate and stops any image tearing sue to frames rendering to the screen before the last one has totally disappeared.
There is a stutter point in the Black Death track when the LA hits the 190.
