  4. Following the recent exchange of posts and confusion in the Pedestal boards which had me laughing out loud by the way..I think it is time to bring up the topic of creating a standard "Dogz Time" again for when events will start. On a given day and time, we all set a time piece of some description to the same time. This will become "Dogz Time". This time may be quite a bit different from your local time but there will be no confusion about daylight saving and time zones etc. It will then be down to each person to work out their own difference from the Dogz Time. This time will then be standard, no adjustments. It could be set as a mid atlantic time so not too far out for the majority of K9 members. I think the biggest difference we have is about 8 hours east to west, so all clocks would be on the same day at least! Your thoughts please.....

Does any one have any clues as to how to go about putting this right, i think i have tried it every which way but still am having problems in not getting it quite right. Cheers Friar

"..surley you all have pooed your pants at some point........well there was that time when I was in the "The Downed Pilot" when I had been drinking too many pints of Spitfire and I had to pay a visit to the Rest Room (editor:put in for our American friends, for the UK bretheren, insert "Bog") and whilst standing there enjoying the moment and reading some interesting graffiti, I was surprised to find two pilots from the 69th Gay And Proud Squadron standing either side of me...

  24. Yesterday, whilst disscussing the family financial situation and other thinks, I happened to comment to my wife about the age of our system and the problems we have been having (blue screens and freezes, also the printer is starting to die) and that I may have to do a re, ref, (come on friar you can say it, deep breath now......) reformat, there, I said it!, bless her cotten socks she says "could you get a new one?", "oh" says me, "I suppose we could.........." So the point of this rambling post is, do any of the UK guys know of any good packages / can offer a good reccomendations to a machine/package that would give me a new flat screen (of decent size), printer, and good machine for gaming, before I start trawling the net.....oh, and the budget £1000!!
  25. we've thought about that before Gec, but then we have the trouble of distributing the tickets, arranging funds transfers etc, so its best we just get our own ticket.
