  1. (Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I was not sure where to post it) Salute, Over at the Dangerdogz (www.dangerdogz.com) we are about to make HSFX our "Official" version. We would like to challenge another squad to a match to celebrate. We were thinking of 2 x 45-60 min dog fights with defined plane sets and ground targets, take the scores at the end of a session, then after a quick "comfort break" swap sides and do it again. We are made up of mainly UK with a healthy smattering of North American, Canadian and Europeans. We fly Tuesdays, Thursdays , Saturday (via Hyperlobby to keep the event started by Blairgowrie for the Ubizoo) and on Sundays (being our main "event" night) We tend to start at 19:30 with open dog fights then move to co-ops. If a fun filled night sounds up your squads strasse, drop me a line or visit us over at our forum. Once again, sorry to 242 Squad if this is in the wrong place. Regards DD_Friar

  4. Had a blast last night chaps, pleasure to host. Jim would have loved the TB3 fight, I NEARLY made the perfect mission but ended it the only way the dogz know... Salute.
  5. So Arthur, the die was cast all those years ago....
  6. Update - I have now added the "Armour" items.
  7. Happy Birthday chaps. If a large parcel arrives which looks like it could be moving, please open with care, it will be one of the Sisters on a special birthday treat mission. If she does not arrive blame UPS........... Friar
  8. I have now added the 7 smoke and 4 fire objects
  9. Security tip for those that still need to use a "crooklock" I had one on my MKII Cortina, my Dad told me to drill through the shaft and put a padlock through it once in the locked position, that way they can not be sprung by a hefty foot. I know this to have foiled at least 1 attempt to still the car from out side my house by a known little sh1t who went on to take another car that night and attempted to run the owner over.
  10. Yey! Salute Gentlemen (I use the term loosely). many happy returns

  15. I have added the file to a new location so hopefully this should now work.
  16. I have now completed my project I have been working on to produce an up to date catalogue for all the static objects that can be added to a map. I have placed a zip file in the HSFX 6 section of the vault and would welcome someone to download it and check that my instructions work. http://dangerdogz.co...tic-objectszip/ The zip file contains a folder containing all 1748 objects, an excel spreadsheet where I have put each object into a category and the code to make a web page that will display the chosen category. 17. 3rd time indeed JP, I think the only county to have done that. I think the Olympics are great, watching lots when I can get the remote. Really enjoyed the Opening Ceremony. It seems to be bringing the country together in a jingoistick frenzy........to the tune of Queens we will rock you Clap Clap bang, Clap clap bang ...Team GB Team GB
  18. Welcome Stryker. UP3 is the corrent sudo Official version however we are on the cusp of moving to Hsfx V6.01 as the "Official" dogz version. We are now playing more and more in this new version. You will not have to have Hyperlobby to fly with us. Generally the host will give you a DNS address to enter in the "Multiplay" screen to correct you directly. Regards Friar
  19. My next door neighbour works for a company that is doing the x-ray scanners for the stadiums and they had a couple of runners in the torch relay. He was allowed to bring one home for the night.
  20. Been thinking about use of beacons, as I was called to wise up for last nights mission, which I enjoyed by the way Fruitbat. It occurred to me that if you record the transmit letters starting in the sector for 180 to 210 you wont have to work out the reciprocal heading. The letter you get will give you the heading on the chart. For those of us that are a bit stretched when flying it will be one less thing to calculate. Simples
  21. Hello, Please find attached version 2 of my object list. I have now categorised all the objects so you can search for a type. Things like telephone poles and flowerpots (did you know we have four different types, who said Clod was into detail!) are classed as "Landscape". For each object in this group I have added a description. If you find that any of my groups could be better defined, please let me know. If you open the text file in excel and then add the filter to all rows, that will give you the searchable groups. Salute Friar hsfx objects2.txt
  22. One day we may want it back...................but I doubt it Salute to all the great friends I consider myself as having over the pond. Salute Friar
