IgnoreSwep=1 (where has the laughing dog gone from the smiley's?) Interestingly FT, when I was looking for threads on this subject Fruitbat posted and he had Texcompres=0 Is this card dependant?

Brilliant, thats got it back to what I had it at before. 5 points to Brando and Sid (Sid - match back on for the 9th by the way)

Spot on old chap, made the change and the sky now looks right. My next question for a further 5 points... Screen resolution...I have been mucking about with the settings and have cocked things up I think. I have a 1920 x 1080 HD monitor If I set the resolution in the game to the same it seems to stretched. What should my resolution be? I currently have it at 1280x960 but that looks too wide as weel. I did have it so that the menus had a black bar eithee side but the game was fine. Now I cant seem to get back to those settings Any offers?

Ok Chaps, I need numbers. Thor has asked how many pilots we will be putting up. I will start a new 1 post thread that we can add to. I think I will also send out a flyer to all members, might get a few back in the fold.

copy of post...... Sounds good to me. Midway map just needs bombers on the Japanese side and it is good to go. I will have to double check with the latest version of the BoB to see if we need to add targets to RED team, but that is no problem. Planeset: - Battle of Midway - RED (Carriers): SBD-3 SBD-3 Scout TBD-1 F4F4 RED (Midway island): TBF-1 F2A2 PBY-5 (limited to 4) BLUE: A6M2-21 D3A1 * B5N2 * * Currently only AI, but can be easily added to the carrier home bases. BLUE team has three AI attacks, one at the start of the DF map on Midway, then 45min/75min later two strikes on Yorktown that will get sunk 90% of time. These AI flights will be removed for the Match. I only need to do the briefing for the map. - Battle of Britain - RED: Blenheim Mk.IF Hurricane Mk.I 12Lbs Hurricane Mk. IIa Spitfire F I Spitfire F IIa BLUE: Bf-109E-1 Bf-109E-3 Bf-109E-4 Bf-110C-4 Ju-87B-2 He-111H-2 Do-17Z-2 looks like we need to start a headcount......

Update from the "other side" I asked about scenarios and thor has come back with Some minor issues with BoB map, but that will get sorted out well before we set the date. Two scenarios I personally would like to fly: Battle of Midway Battle of Britain Genova, Italy 1944 Since we are hosting, you guys pick one. Or two, we may even do 4 sorties (each team will fly both sides on one map). On thing is that we would like to focus on fighters as we're flying bombers all the time. You can shoot at us in the upcoming DBS Dedicated Missions. Last edited by T}{OR; Yesterday at 22:19.

Ok, I have now registered and am on their forums. So I will try and get an update as soon as possible. Does anyone have any preferences for a map or scenario?

No, I am up here on a research trip for the Priory as our mission goal is to save fallen women and I have heard that northern women fall over easier than southern ones..... On the doors front FT, if it is the doors that cause an issue I will of course remove it with no problem, sadness yes, problem no. Many thanks for all your testing and time, by the way. Hello, I have this reply back from Thor Hi! Like yourself, RL got in the way here - hence my late reply. PM BoneHead over at BFs forums or send me a PM over there with your account so that we can sort out any problems. We're happy to fly fighters only, whilst we do enjoy flying bombers a lot - I wouldn't mind a change once a while. Besides, there are many other BFs pilots that will definitely join us if we decided on doing this. I'll start a thread about this on our forums. This is what has been posted on their forum

Hello, I have had a reply from T}{or over at 242 to my post about anyone wanting a match. He has replied to say they might be interested. As they are a dedicated bomber units I have suggested the following; Anyway my idea for the match would be, as you are a dedicated bomber unit, how about we set a map up so one side picks a bomber attack, the other fighters to intercept. The side using the bombers can choose how many of its pilots it uses in bombers, the other being escorts. Points will be placed in ground targets. The more bombers you fly the more chance of getting points, the more chance of getting hit with a lesser fighter cover. The other side has to intercept and stop the bombers getting through. As mentioned before, we swap sides and roles and have another go. At the end we add all the points together for bragging rights or just say cheers for a great night of fun! I know we have people who can lead bombers / enjoy the discipline so thought that might work. When I get more news I will update. DD_Friar
