here is a letter I have received from the uk postal service, just delivered by a courier on a fast horse Dear mr delta Apologies for the delay in delivering your package, a seriese of unfortunate events has overtaken our stagecoach. firstly a parson stopped us , he had three fallen maidens in tow and begged a lift to his priory, the poor dears were so unsuitably attired for this time of year that we were obliged to take them onboard. They repaid our kindness so fulsomely that we were detained overnight. the nags were well rested but unfortunatly we got little sleep. secondly a bloke in barnsly delayed us upon the highway, he was driving an extensive flock of sheep afore him- a cheery chap who was whistling jauntily and as he passed he muttered something about thats his love life settled for the rest of the month- he seemed straingly affectionate to one "maisey" lastly there was a chap called Rog who stormed the coach demanding if we had seem any parrots, semmingly he is in the process of scouting the land looking for such a type of bird , he is in the process

still not here - must need special mail horses to get all the way to scotland by stagecoach

a couple of thoughts mates 1) we can get over 20 DD and HH for a special event 2) not many are regular tho and not many have flown all the possible missions on our Tunis SEOW campaign 3) The proposed SEOW has limited plane numbers so the planes/pilot ratio is going to decrease over the match giving the commanders a headache in allocating available planes to a pilot pool 4) no matter how we try a co-op has a limit of 32 while a dogfight map can take more so I propose that we continue our current practice which is to run the SEOw while running a DF server as backup for those who cannot take part in the SEOW or who are killed early. the commanders can rotate players in the SEOW so everyone gets a chance the dogfight map could be glenns d-day caen mission or similar

Just to expand on what was discussed last night with a few links for those interested 1) format is used to clean out your drive , as you use it then your drive and registry gets clogged up and slow so a periodic clean up and start again helps , for info on partitioning and formatting see here http://www.theeldergeek.com/hard_drives.htm http://www.theeldergeek.com/f.htm REMEMBER WHEN YOU FORMAT YOU LOOSE EVERYTHING SO TAKE A BACKUP FIRST 2) nero ( or other back up utilities) are insurance for when things go wrong. they take a mirror image of your drive( complete with any errors) , you can store this image on a seperate partition, second drive or cd/dvd.
