  3. MAMA'S GIFTS Four brothers left home for college, and they became successful doctors and lawyers and prospered. Some years later, they chatted after having dinner together. They discussed the gifts they were able to give their elderly mother who lived far away in another city. The first said, "I had a big house built for Mama." The second said, "I had a hundred thousand dollar theater built in the house." The third said "I had my Mercedes dealer deliver an SL600 to her." The fourth said, "You know how Mama loved reading the Bible and you know she can't read anymore because she can't see very well. I met this preacher who told me about a parrot that can recite the entire Bible. It took twenty preachers 12 years to teach him. I had to pledge to contribute $100,000 a year for twenty years to the church, but it was worth it. Mama just has to name the chapter and verse and the parrot will recite it." The other brothers were impressed. After the holidays Mom sent out her thank you notes. "She wrote: "Milton, the house you built is so huge. I live in only one room, but I have to clean the whole house. Thanks anyway." "Marvin, I am too old to travel. I stay home, I have my groceries delivered, so I never use the Mercedes. The thought was good. Thanks." "Michael, you gave me an expensive theater with Dolby sound, it could hold 50 people, but all my friends are dead, I've lost my hearing and I'm nearly blind. I'll never use it. Thank you for the gesture just the same." "Dearest Melvin, you were the only son to have the good sense to give little thought to your gift. The chicken was delicious. Thank you."

    CPU COOLER

They say hot air rises... So bottom fan sucks and the top fan at rear blows... Zalman uses cooler pipe style, fan is at 90 degrees to CPU/heatsink.
  6. Hostgator We have the Swamp package, they do other packages with less space and bandwidth but pretty much the same sort of features. All are php enabled, but some have less MYSQL databases than others. They are respected and the support has been very good.

    CPU COOLER

I can only recommend the Zalman CNPS9700-LED Aero Flower (Socket AM2/939/754/478/775) CPU Cooler. A tad fiddly to fit but performs very well I get idle 30C and rarely see it get as high as 40C.
  8. Glenn..... That is a classic and should be carved into granite to never be lost to the sight of man, woman, dogs or Frior One. Absolutely freakingly astoundingly brilliant, and the best laugh I have had in this life. Jane loved it too, and Psycho (hi Jim it's really good to see here again) is utterly on the button. You know exactly how to put black on white in a most captivating and amusing way I have yet to encounter in my 46 years. It is an honour to read such, and to know you as a friend ..Salute and Salute again.
  9. Merry Christmas m8, and one and all!
  10. Yup that'll be me. I'll start a new thread in the Dogz mess as the last one got a bit fragmented and, well, messy. Please post Here if you want me to source a copy for you.
  11. Well VT, my missus took a look at your pics and said 'it's made me home sick for Virginia, I really miss the snow'. Funny thing is, I point out that Canada would be a nice place to live but it 'has too much snow'.... Actually she said VA only had snow once like that during the winter, I tried to counter with 'but so does Canada...' she trumped me with 'yeah? but it's all winter and winter is soooo long in Canada'....I gave up after that, I know when I'm a beaten man .
  12. Merry Christmas Dazza, and all who could be arsed to read this thread

    46 ITS HERE

The last of the three I ordered arrived today. Posted on the same day but one seems to have taken a detour, perhaps it kept yours company Delta?! I finally broke the cellophane on one today, didn't want to do that on one I may have had to send to BG or Ironmike. Boy that was hard, sitting on my desk whispering 'play me' over and over again they were...
  14. Belated birthday greetings Pooka! Hope it was a good one
  15. I'll despatch one of my parrots with one for you Dave, not too sure how long it'll taker her to get to you last reckoning was 6 miles a day, however if you promise copious quantities of pistachios and almonds she may be a little more motivated . It'll be the big Blue and Gold one (3 foot long and a 3 foot wingspan) pictured here for recognition purposes Bit concerned the bare patches might get frost bite though, but it may teach her to not pull any more feathers out!
