  1. Ouch m8 Difference now, and it is a major difference, is it is all one suite. Previously we had bits tacked on that were fudged to work together. Didn't help my not checking the back up before I made changes, since discovered because we are using more than 4GB of data we can only do/have manual backups... didn't see that in the contract.
  2. Ahh.. there is a Win 7 patch. Didn't see that when I downloaded it I'm with you on the irritation, although this is light relief for me compared to the pig's ear I made of these boards I downloaded Nero trial (I have an old license kicking around somewhere) but couldn't get it to work with Irfanview - then I saw Jabo's post above...so yeah I'd give it a go mate!
  3. Ahh.. Must read more slowly DVD.. Missed that first time around, if you get the trial copy of Nero then it and Irfanview will do the job (Nero will probably do it on it's own).
  4. Irfanview will do that, and more. And it's free
  5. Nah.. These guys have the best job in the world IMHO
  6. Wasn't aimed at you Augusto! (or any one else eitehr - just a hint to use the blessed thing!).
  7. Look for a 'What You Hear' input device in your recording mixer. If found kill it, shred it and then set fire to it. Then call in a priest and exorcise just in case.
  8. Smoke Mod in our Vault None of that Media Fire nonsense here now
  9. Well hey, I did my bit and made the Vault available and a better version.. Want me to trawl the net and test and post the latest mods too!
  10. Nice Fruitbat! An extra for the gallery loading too @@Kimosabi Thanks mate! (was really actually testing the [member='Kimosabi'] code
  11. Not what I said! Or are you saying you cannot post screen shots? I was hinting that rather than use external sites for screen shots, we can use our gallery and link the images in this topic, for instance, that way we know they will show regardless of bandwidth used (photobucket limits bandwidth still?) and will remain to be enjoyed here. If any of you have problems using the Gallery just holler (the help section is pretty good too).

  13. @B16Enk Wonders why he added the Gallery some times
  14. I got the Microsoft TechNet subscription, $349 which is a bit steep but compares favourably when you consider I got Office Pro with it too. Plus as many copies of any current Microsoft OS I want
  15. That is stunning! Showed my 14yr old son what a 7yr old game can evolve into and he too was stunned.
  16. Cool vid Snacko! You may need to add a WMP Plugin to view this! For FireFox For Google Chrome You will need to restart Chrome, FireFox you will have to close in order to install.
  17. Just testing the upload, and move functions of the gallery

  18. Good decision there Colin, Nick made a very good point (and I upped his post rep for it ) earlier about upstream speed.
  19. Yes I was surprised that it needed 1.1 installed first, even though it installs in it's own folder. Must be a way around that..

  21. Ahh, yes a good question. When installing first OS then plug into SATA/PATA 0. When doing a dual boot scenario you have two choices: Leave disks as is and install 2nd OS, this way you have a single boot loader and a choice of OS at start (of course this would require the oldest installed first so: XP then install Vista/7 etc. Unplug primary SATA/PATA 0 but leave the other drive on SATA/PATA 1 Configure BIOS to boot from above disk, this is useful if you want to install XP after 7 and use the BIOS boot choice option (some more modern BIOS have a BBS key for this). If you moved the 2nd OS to SATA/PATA 0 then it would be the only bootable OS unless to change boot order in BIOS.
  22. Sure is Kelly. You can edit each image, and also set title of image when you upload it. And add a description too.

  25. I have donated a Gallery add-on for your delectation. To use it click 'My Settings', click the gallery link there-in and create your first Album(s). You can create a private one for your profile pics, plus whatever public ones you require. You can then link photos from the album directly (better than photoBucket too) in posts thus: <img src="http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums/uploads/1270219000/gallery_284_2_1571913.jpg"> Which appears like this:
