    Ash Hole

Nothing visible here in London or @ home in Cambridge. I think it is most likely a smudge and so high invisible to the naked eye. It may give rise to some interesting sunsets though..

Sounds like a caching issue. http://www.dangerdogz.com is the main site index page, and should show only two buttons, one for home and one for forums. Clicking home should do nada, forums however should bring you here. The forums, http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums will prompt you to login if you try to post, it will also show a restricted view (some forums require membership to view). I'm using google Chrome, have tested with FireFox and IE8 and not found any issue with logging on. Software does detect that you may have logged on from another system (can even be 2nd browser or a pc on same IP) and will ask you to revalidate and will terminate the old session. So if you have left the browser open on the forums on, say, your home PC. Then login on your work system, when you come back home it will appear that you are logged in until you either refresh the page, or click a link. You will then be prompted to login again. This security measure helps protect our system from attack, and also aids your privacy. If you have more than one tab/button showing for the first link (the home page for dangerdogz.com) then this sounds like IE has cached the site and has not yet refreshed the page. ctrl+f5 should fix that. The home page will be changing soon, and will be integrated with the forums properly.
  4. Cheers Dragan, yes it is a great bit of software. We can easily convert those topics, I'll create a Tutorial area for them, then clicking the icon bottom right under the post will do it's magic.
  5. Download a new one Martin. And it has an analogue clock too, at least with Win 7 it does..
  6. Both PCs need to be on same subnet, this should happen automatically if both are set to get IP from DHCP and your router/switch acts as a dhcp server. If you do not have a router (you mention 'switch' then they will auto assign an IP - this should be on same subnet/mask..need more detail (output of start > run > cmd + enter > ipconfig/all from both systems). Firewall(s) may be blocking ICMP (ping).
  7. No problem using the paypal account guys, I can setup an additional item for this. What is the difference between a 'Beanie' and a 'Baseball cap'? Thinking about at least a shirt and headware, got more detail on the Jacket Nick?
  8. Handy site! Click this to test your ping and packet loss Mine, during the busy period: And @ 23:39 slightly better (this is a 20Mb fibre connection...)
  9. Hi guys ('bout time we got some talent members of the fairer sex in our membership.) I have installed a new tutorial system today. First addition to it was a brief explanation of how to get TS3 showing on the G15 keyboard. I had to fudge it a little bit, by first creating a post in the IL2 Tutorials board. This allowed me to add attachments, quite important I think, to add a visual guide. Then I had to import it as a tutorial, and then add a link back to the support topic...hmmm..I must be overlooking a setting somewhere.. All sorted now, you can add images as though it were a normal post! I will add more categories, including one on how to use the Tutorial System!! You will have seen the new 'hook' as they call it in the right side bar, and a tab that has now appeared on the menu at the top. There should also be a new icon under posts, entitled 'Make Tutorial'. This will convert a post into a tutorial..surprisingly enough! I also locked down the propaganda room, so no new topics unless in a defined group (it is used to generate the 'View the latest news..' item in the forum top menu. You should be able to reply to topics though. So first up for replies: What tutorials would you like to see, and any volunteers to create these?
  10. And still relatively sane too! Congrats mate! I can still remember feeling chuffed (and a little overawed it has to be said) when BG invited Delta and I to fly with the Dogz, had no idea where it was going to lead.. So pleased to have been invited, and to still be here
  11. This is the support topic for the tutorial Enable Ts3 Display On G15 Keyboard. Please post here if you have any questions or feedback.
  12. Please check this newly minted Tutorial in our new Tutorial App: http://www.dangerdog...n-g15-keyboard/
  13. CheckSum File here Not sure how it was produced, you can iopen the file in notepad but format is a tad mangled. Possibly renaming it to checksum.md5 will make it open with MD5 Sum..
  14. You have to enable plugin in TS3 client, and in the G15 software. I have Win7 64bit, perhaps let the G15 software do an update?
  15. Ditto and pretty sure it works for mine OK. Slightly off-topic, used Mumble for the first time yesterday whilst playing BF BC2, and was very impressed with the quality (on a par with TS3) and the fact it has a built-in overlay. Now why can't TS3, a commercial product, do what that open source one has done?
  16. Yup, then you can apply the 2.01 patch from our vault, then the 2.01 hotfix also from the vault.
  17. Smoking! Getting 4000k+ download speeds to the vault now, less than a minute to grab each 251Mb file ok..so I hijacked this thread
  18. Where from mate? HellHounds have same rights as DangerDogz, UP is not in the Vault at this time.. I say at this time because I have just found our hosting company now allows CURL, which means I can pull data/files from a web address directly to a directory on our server. So I can grap UP2.0n @ 320+k rather than suffer the 30-50k upload I have at home. Uploading UP2.0n to our vault now

If you have 7 ultimate you can use XP Mode until you get this resolved..
  21. Good find Snacko, OK so it may be a rarely encountered issue but your finding this solution could save someone a lot of hair! Google will pick this up so there is a chance it could help somebody else

Ignore this post, FT has found the answer above I believe! Interesting. I have installed Office 2007 on Windows 7 32 and 64 bit several times, and not seen this issue. I did not use the 'Run as..' option to elevate user perms, this may install it in the admin context hence the error you saw http://support.microsoft.com/kb/898512 May assist you here (the .dat file may have another name with 2007) I have left UAC on but with the following setting:
  23. It was the title of your post 'Irritating Glitch' that caught my eye, reminded me of the ex-wife for some reason.
