  1. Hi chaps, The update to 2.8 is slated to hit this afternoon/evening; in light of our scheduled DCS session and the likelihood that this will be a sizeable update I am going to initially recommend that you DO NOT update to this version if you are wishing to do MP this eve; firstly, as we cannot guarantee the server version can be updated in time but also I am aware that even some of us with good internet connections can experience long update times when the ED master server is experiencing a lot of traffic. Given the importance of this latest update we can only assume that this will be a popular download and ergo bandwidth will suffer, thus much extending download times. Moving clouds and more realistic Ai jet dogfighting will just have to wait!

  3. Hello Pilots, I know that there is a great deal of uncertainty for some of you as to the future of the IL-2 franchise. I will try to help ease some of that anxiety. First and foremost, as he mentioned in his video, Jason actually left 1CGS back in late summer. BON was released on time and all the Collector Planes, Vehicles and modules with preorders started will be completed and released. 1CGS is still producing hardcore flight sims and Jason's departure doesn't affect the development schedule in any way. Moreover, the development of the next project has already started as it was stated several times in Russian and English interview and podcast. More info on the next development cycle will be shared in our Dev Blogs, streams etc. And for those concerned about current events affecting anything, it does not. 1CGS is not affected by any sanctions. And there will be a stream event next week with the development team that should provide much more detail on the path forward. The exact date is still TBD based on production completion.

  5. Hey guys, Firstly i wanted to apologise for not being around for such a long time. I had to take a break for a while. I had so much going on and the PC took the back seat. I havent even logged onto iL2 since the new Normandy came out. I was wondering how it is?…. I waited and waited for the Mossie to make an appearance and i haven't even flown it! i dont know what it is but i seem to have just lost a bit of love with combat flight sims at the moment. I just dont have the urge to blow stuff up! I have been flying alot of Flight Sim over the past month but kept thinking about you guys so thought id pop on and say hello to say i am still here, im just taking a breather from the gunning down at the moment. I even started making a couple of videos on MSFS so if you would like to view them Search RoyalFosse on youtube. I have done a few integrating NeoFly and Vatsim (live ATC). I'm sure i will be back in a tiffy sometime but didnt want to just stay mute! Hope the campaign is going well! I check in from time to time but for the mean time ill lob a few pages on the MSFS area for those who are interested. (Feel free to move this but i know you would read this here) My channel if you want to laugh 😂 https://m.youtube.com/channel/UC48FBczEjLXYZw9YebXUqtw
