What I got out of it was that Spain was used as a test platform for the 109 up until E models(E's only at the final stage of the war). In other words, B and C models were indeed used in Spain. When the narrator talkes about spain, he doesnt mention which model they used, but in the film it looks like they showed the F-model which is confusing indeed. Now I´m gonna watch the other 5 parts. TV documentaries are not all kosher all the time IMO, so take some of it with a grain of salt. I digged it for the footage and seeing legendary Aces in old interviews. As for the out of date films, it's ridiculously common in documentaries, I catch it all the time. You've got to remember that a lot if not most of the crew involved in making these things know little or nothing about the subject, so it's easy for these mistakes to get through.
