Sweper
~S~ I thought I was pretty happy with my IL-2 settings until I read this post on ubizoo. I changed everything in the config.ini file as described in the post, and wow!, now I got an eureka experience of how it should look like. Until I read this post
Lothar
Isn't it because he is using a widescreen monitor? Just a thought, I'm sure some expert will be along shortly... EDIT: forget about my post, I see you considered this already.

gec
1680*1050 is a 16:9 resolution. you should just use your ingame settings and zoom out to have this view. your LCD should always be set to it's native resolution. it is different from LCD to LCD. i have 20" LCD also on 1680*1050. Check your LCD manual for it's native resolution.
Snacko
To me it just looks like he is zoomed out more than you. I think when the game installs it just has keys assigned to FOV for Wide, Normal, and Gunsight.
Sweper
Thank you mates. You´re right. I found the settings in the game controls for adjusting the view. Not as wide as ubizoo member but much better. Yes, my native resolution is 1680*1050 on my 22" Wide monitor. Still have a lot to learn.... ~S~
