gec
i have read somewhere that it could be related to Video Aperture size setting in BIOS. try to play wit it. may be helps. if not i would believe that something is wrong with the memory or the motherboard. The Video Aperture is located in your BIOS settings. On modern computer the aperture ranges from 8mb to 128mb in size. What was stated in the article was to make the Aperture no larger than ¼ the size of your System Memory (RAM). Example: If you have 512MB of RAM then the Aperture should not be larger than 128MB in size.
1. DDz Quorum B16Enk Posted April 26, 2009 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted April 26, 2009 Your system has an Intel chipset, and Intel on board graphics? This may be curable by changing your graphics driver, by downloading from Intel.com. Have you changed drivers recently, or did windows update do it for you? Shadow
A 0000008E error is a bad registry entry. (bad as in fatal, to use the MS vernacular) Run a program like Regseeker to fix it most times.
