JensenPark
How could this happen? http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090216/ap_on_re_eu/eu_britain_sub_collision I mean, considering the size of the Atlantic, and the fact they both have radar and both were going slow. Blairgowrie
Just proves how stealthy they really are. Fortunately they both seemed to survive the collision with no loss of life reported.
Perfesser
Both submerged so they aren't using radar, only passive sonar, just listening, not pinging away for echoes. Even radar I think they used to just use briefly looking for aircraft as they surface. Maybe not any more. Any emission(sound or radio)
JensenPark
I figured the French crew were on strike, and the Brit crew were drunk.
Tribunus
As crazy as this sounds, they were most likely playing "Chicken".
