I've seen that video before. Didn't that pilot plow another one into the ground?, or maybe that was the test pilot earlier. The old news on TV4 certainly raises some memories.

Was that a flight control computer glitch? That 'cobra' manouvre is way out of the envelope for a Gripen.

Glad no one was hurt.

Looks like it Kling, there should be no way for the pilot to input a manouvre (sp?) like that. I've got some footage somewhere of the Gripen crash during testing (although I'm not about to post it), but that was down to pilot error on landing (I think) - he got away with it too...
