Tonar Posted April 10, 2008 Author Posted April 10, 2008 OK I am comming to the end of the shaping process for the fuselage. Give me comments on shape please. Quote
Enforcer57 Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Other than the nose being a little long for the reasons mentioned, it looks like an F6F. Just make sure you don't fly in front of a 110 you don't see. Heh heh. (Runs from room laughing maniacally) Quote
Knight Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 id say thats a good finish on the body, got all the lines of the F6F, i mean there isnt many lines on a F6F, you could of had a brick there and i would say "yup its a F6F" But you have it spot on in my eyes. Quote
Tonar Posted April 11, 2008 Author Posted April 11, 2008 OK Enough of the pretty work for now, time to get to the guts Added the Servo and control rods to wing Split the fuselage to put the guts in Use a dremmel routing attachment to rout out the area for the Servo, Receiver, Switch and Battery Add guts Just started the radio install, but I have to stop short for now. GreyKnight Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 I've no clue when it comes to making these Tonar, but how do you deal with centre of gravity issues? Did this model come with instructions that has dealt with the CoG or are you just 'wiinging' it by ear yourself? Quote
