Shadow
Or 'How To Land An A20 Like A Cobra Jock' Set up: Heavily wounded, major red screen, leaking fuel off and on for half an hour. I figured I had one shot at it.
1. DDz Quorum B16Enk Posted July 2, 2007 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted July 2, 2007 Sweet landing A moment there of 'why the fuck don't they have reverse thrust on these things'... I'm gutted I didn't make it last night, my father decided we needed his company until after 22:00. Still after mum died I have that as a first duty.. Nevart
Faced with such a problem you can very carefully alternatingly apply left and right rudder to create "partial slip" on final (note, it should not result in a stall). Slight nose high attitude helps too, but if you find too much speed is bled off, then nose down a fraction until it corrects (this is easier to control with modern aircraft than tail-draggers). Nevart
Now that I upgraded my Flash player, I was able to watch the video. Why did you leave it so late to extend gear?
