~S~ Chaps,
I would love to have a go at target marking with the mod Mossie. A nice semi dark landscape with B17s following up to hammer the coloured markers. :)
2 km icons would make this very interesting with a good chance of survival for the Mossies. ;)

I've heard thet they did "Operation Bodenplatte" some years ago or less(saw it on YouTube), maybe even some of you guys took part. Excellent mission and it would call for a great coalition with other squads as well.

Three rules for any forced landing:
1. Don't stall.
2. Don't ever stall
3. Don't never ever stall.

The more I fiddle with UP2.0 and fly on UKded3 with the Zuti mod the more I realise the potential still left in this decade old sim!
I'd like to see more historical mid-war scenarios with cross channel 'Rhubarbs' using early Typhoons, a channel dash mission, anti-shipping strikes with rocket-firing Mossie's and Beau's from the Banff strike wing, Bay of Biscay fights between twin engined long range fighters, a Salerno mission using the MTO map. Something, anything, using the beautiful Slovakia maps :) where we can use those luvverley new P51's and I want to create the definitive Pacific carrier battle mission.
Not much really :roflmao: My new years resolution is to pull my finger out and learn to use the FMB and get on with it!

i'm in the process of making a co-op based around BoB, on the early channel stage in july at the moment, based on the events of the 25 july, basically a large convoy was travelling down the channel between dover and folkestone, and was attacked by ju87's escorted by 109's, with some 110's low level attacking dover harbour itself, with various spit and hurris squadrons sent to intercept. I've changed some of the airfields to make it a bit more co-op friendly but tried to stay as historical as i can including correct squadrons.
disclaimer, this is the first co-op i've made, although i'm no stranger to the fmb, will release for testing and tweaking soon, if all goes well, will make some more, have some good references and ideas for some early ruburbs and cicuses as well.

Here dead we lie, because we did not choose to live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose, but young men think it is, and we were young.

On the channel theme, Operation Cerberus might be good with three axis capital ships coming up the Channel and pretty clear objectives on both sides.
